So in another thread about awkward silences I was asked how do you alter conversations without the act of changing that conversation being awkward. So here are several ways I look to keep a conversation moving and fluid. 1) Sooooooooo.... - why this works it lets her know something is coming and you can ask anything (something sensible obviously) 2) Pick out a word that she used to describe something from a previous conversation and bring that up in conversation with your question. - example: "You said you were in a blue dress, blue is my favourite colour and was the colour of the collar on my dog when I was growing up. Are you a cats or dogs person and what colour would you have as its collar?" What this does is sets up the next 10 minutes for an exchange of these style of 'get to know you' questions. 3) Me and the (boys/girls) at work were discussing... - lets her know you are social or you could put it in to a friends and I situation and just lets her know you will and can go out and do your own thing. - if you use me and girls it lets jer know you'll talk with other girls and lets her know if she want you she'll have to begin to crack that extrior 4) Excuse yourself and come back several minutes later with a totally different subject to talk about. - Note do not use this a lot, i know its easy but you dont want her thinking your bladder is pea sized!!! 5) "Awww I was at my (brothers/sisters/cousins) and their (little one/neice/nephew) kept asking me these questions" then go on to ask silly questions like 'if you could have any super power blah blah' hit her with between 3 and 5 and then say it was pretty cute really (refering to said neice/nephew or little one) but as you say cute bring your arm towards you - to your chest or to frame your face...associate the word cute with you. 6) oh wow thats a nice (bracelet, watch, necklace) was it a present? - Usually is a HB is wearing a top which you can look down be aware of the time and if she is wearing a bracelet, watch or necklace that hits the top of the cleevage if she catches you looking at her tits and you know you got caught use this. It will then make her question herself and if you were looking or not. Changing a conversation is not an awkward thing and just knowing a few simple ways to change it will really help you to keep the conversation ticking over and reduce any awkward silences. What I will say is don't continually use the same one, she's not stupid and will pick up. |

I love using the bracelet/necklace/accessory technique because then you can use kino to actually observe it, without it being weird/awkward. It also shows that you have somewhat of an interest. |
