The only exception is if you've been talking to her for 30 minutes. Check out the video here for more details:

Buying a drink is a gentlemanly thing to do. It's ok to have a conversation first, but asking for a girl to buy you a drink is rude.

And Tony, seen some of your advice, they tend to be utter bs.

I would say "Never buy a drink for a girl if she asks for one" but if you're in comfort and it's a three set, buy a drink for both girls and send the obstacle to the bar for them.

ROTFLOL!! :D A guy refused to buy you a drink didn't he?

Sugar-pop, please remove that silver spoon from your anal cavity and land on earth, preferably feet first, because the only drink i would get you in real life is a glass of water and you'd still end up riding me in the end.
Never asked for one, but I'm always given few. Makes a guy stand out in a positive way, when they do and they get conversation.

Jeez, what a charmer you are... And you are seriously pretending to be some sort of a ladies man? I pity any guy that would take an advice from you.

That's rude, childish and untasteful. Learn how to speak to a woman, if you ever hope to bed one.

What you just said is exactly why people on this forum DONT want to buy drinks for girls. That if we buy a drink, we get to have a conversation with you. Im sorry, but I would never even want to talk to a girl that treats a conversation with her as a reward for me buying her a drink.

Look, pretty girls get a LOT of attention at bars. From a lot of good-looking guys as well. A girl has to choose how to spend her time well. If a guy shows some commitment with buying a drink, he is obviously interested and not complete waste of time, especially if she's with friends.

Also, a guy who buys a girl a drink is less likely to be looking for a random one-night-stand with anyone. Would be a bad investment of his time and money (which is more likely the reason guys here are against the idea)

Cry, if you like, but that's the way it is.

Not crying about anything. What I'm saying is, if a girl thinks I need to spend money on her for the "privilege" to have a conversation with her, then thats someone I'd probably would want to avoid. There are plenty of very good looking girls out there who dont feel that way, and Id rather talk to someone who finds me interesting for who I am, not for what Im buying them.

And to say that a guy who uses money to get a girls attention is less likely to be looking for a one-night stand is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever heard. If anything, the guy who pays money for a girls attention is probably if anything the guy who is definatly looking for a one-night stand. The guy who can build attraction without paying anything is more likely to be the guy who can make a connection with a girl that leads to more than just banging that night and then never to see each other again.

If a guy manages to to stand out, good and preferable for him, but that requires conversation. In a realistic scenario it can be difficult to get that chance, unless you happen to be extraordinarily handsome.

Actually, it's very true. You can a look at this forum and see that the average guy who is after a lay wants as much as possible for as little as possible. A guy commits to one girl as much as she commits to him when buying a drink. A girl likes to feel special.

And for the record, I don't think "Can I buy you a drink?" is the best way to open a conversation.

So if a guy comes up to you and says hi, and unless he looks like the second coming of James Deen, you don't talk to him at all unless he starts buying you drinks? That's shallow, and I'm glad that from personal experience, atleast where I live (Denmark) girls aren't close to that stuck-up. If I was looking for a girl for the long-term and not just a one-night stand, I would want to avoid girls with personalities I don't like, and being shallow is quite high on that least of unattractive qualities.

This is why I made this video. Agreed.

Ladypearl. Why are u on this forum?

You seem to have a massive hatred for guys that act like us so it might be a good idea to take your game and ideas elsewhere? People here don't agree with you, and all you'll get on this forum is bullying and negative comments.
