Hey, guys! Few days ago I met someone at work. Since this day we are use to talk few times a day during breaks. The first and second day we had talked on Facebook but every time I had to open the conversation, however once opened she asked me questions etc. Yesterday she texted me for the very first time (she probably looked her Facebook's history to get my #) to tell me something about her work tiredness. After this text, we almost spent all night long texting each other… Today, she doesn't seen wanting texting me if I don't do it first… I was wondering if ignoring her until she texts me first would be a good option? Furthermore, at work she was a bit different today and more distant from my point of view… I don't want to seem weak and desperate so I stopped texted her few hours ago after she answered my last message. How should I continue? Waiting for her message and continue being normal, or being more distant? Other informations... Btw, I asked her yesterday if she would like to hang out this friday, but she told me she has other plan, but nothing sure yet. If her plan doesn't work, she'll text me… Also, the other problem is that she maybe thinks I'm still in love with my ex (or worst still with her)… |

Paul is right - advice would be generic at this point since we have no clue what the context of your messages were... IE: were they conversational, flirty, sexual, playful? I would offer up an opinion based on the limited info you provided: you're texting too much. You're going to drop yourself in the friend zone and run out of shit to say or talk about. You're also being a little smothering. I'd back off a bit. |
