Post subject:  HB8 extremely offended by text opener...how to proceed?
Met girl at gym. Opened by asking what she was doing today. She said elliptical. I went ok rant about how elliptical is easiest exercise in gym. She makes herself available to me afrer she is done. Number close.

My text: hey...its name from the gym. Meet me for a drink tomorrow. I guarantee more excercise than the elliptical...

Her response: well name, from the gym, I probably would have met yoy for drinks...if you haven't followed up that interaction with a text that was so suggestice and disrespectful. I am not that type of girl and I am pretty sure that I didn't do anything to imply that I was. So thanks for yhe invitation, but I don't make it a habit of hanging out with guys who are blatantly rude to me.

I haven't responded. But feel I have her hamster squirming. How to proceed?

As a newb here, i don't see the way how u could repair that, but what i'd do is text her with a funny thing, about your last text. Dunno if that helps, that was a direct hit.

I'm fairly new here too but seeing as you've already made a joke about how easy the said exercise is, I'd text her back saying something like:
"Woah i was just setting up a joke about how sitting down for a drink would be harder than elliptical. i don't know how men have treated you in the past but just because i offered you a drink it doesn't mean i want to sleep with you. As you think so little of me i don't think i want to have a drink with you anymore."
This will make her feel like the one in the wrong and feel like shit for offending your obviously kind nature and good humor. :P If not to hell with her, move on.

Boom. You should be like, "And I don't know what kind of guy you think I am by assuming such a thing. I will admit it sounded suggestive, but that was the joke! I was actually suggesting that we go for a drink than have a walk around town..."

Drinks and dancing is going to be your best bet. If you don't know how to dance, don't take her to a dance club, take her to a dance class instead. No need making a fool out of yourself.

As for a reply.

You have a dirty mind(her name), I was only suggesting drinks and dancing.

Sounds to much like your trying to play a get out of jail free card with that one, I'd go for the "hurt that she thinks so little of you" card. That way you don't look like you're going back on yourself. Plus she took your last text really badly making a joke out of it won't sit well with her, you need to bring yourself down to her frame, make her think she offended you more than you offended her then have her win you back over.

I would suggest following the advice of the texts with dancing or walking! As a PUA, you are the fun guy, the one that everyone wants to hang out with! If you become too serious and show that you are butt hurt over her text, that will not win her over at all.

Instead make it as a joke as the others have said. You mentioned earlier that you said an elliptical was not a real exercise so you should definitely run with the dance/walking texts~! Remember, make it seem as if it didn't phase you and continue acting normal (if you see her). Do not change your frame to hers. Just don't be sexual over texts! It can be misinterpreted. Or in this case, come off as sleazy. Good luck!

Wasn't aware we are texting. This desqualifies her, and shows her reaction was not a big deal for you. If she was really serious, then move on...until you meet her again.
Girls are fed up with the usual things guys do...clubs, drinks, etc, etc. Secretly they want something more, new experiences... it is always possible to give them that, even by words which will carry their imagination to those places and experiences they never had before. This is much more effective than pick up lines or techniques.

You fucked up big time. Now just leaver her alone. She knows exactly what you meant and you've blown it. Sending her another shitty text to cover your backside will only make her think you are an even bigger loser. Next time THINK before you write such utter crap again. You're trying to be too much of an alpha twat and women can see right through you dude.

Just don't reply. Forget her, she over reacted but trying to "save" here is needy. Just move on, if you see her again you can give her a cocky smile and see how she reacts but that's about it.

You should reply something along like "Huh? What're you talking about? I was talking about meeting up for rock climbing cuz I thought you were into fitness" If she doesn't buy it, then move on. That text opener was way too direct. When texting or calling, it should be continuous from the frame/mood that was set the last time you interacted with her.

Yeah, that's a good reply. The problem with direct sexual text messaging is if you weren't in a sexual frame while interacting, it's weird to be all direct and sexual in a first text message. That's not congruent.
