Now if you're picking up girls at bars/clubs/the street, you might not become FB friends with them right away. But for girls in you social circle, there is a good chance you will end up adding them on Facebook. And this gives you the option of FB chatting them, which to me is the ideal mode of communication. With texting, you have no idea what's going on on the other end. Talking on the phone is invasive and high pressure. But with chat, you know what they're up to for the most part (talking to you), and have the option of taking your time to think up a response. When I was much younger (7th/8th grade) and AIM was popular, I experienced a lot of the same terrible conversations with girls. You:Hey Her:Heyy You:What's up? Her: nm u? You: nm Fail. But I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. Fine, maybe it was my fault for not being interesting or coming up with good conversation topics. But I solved the problem! It's super simple: Send her links to interesting videos or sites. Super obvious, I know, but I never really thought of it as an effective conversation technique until this girl who I've been talking to started sending me links to things. Some of it relates to things we talked about in person, and some is just random stuff she's interested in. This does a few things. It allows you to easily create conversation topics, which leads to longer conversations, which leads to her feeling more invested in you. It also lets both you and her communicate your respective interests, which makes her more interested in you as a person. Starting a conversation with "Hey" is weak, as it begs for attention and reciprocation. But if you start a conversation by simply sending her something interesting, she has the option to not respond, yet probably will anyway- and you don't look weak or needy. Of course, keep in mind that the only reason to be talking to them in the first place is to gain real life, one-on-one time, but talking to her on Facebook effectively can greatly increase the connection she feels to you, making everything else easier. Also, when you are around her in person, if you find yourself running out of things to say, you can always refer back to something you sent her/received from her. I hope this incredibly obvious piece of information proves valuable to you guys. Enjoy. |

This is actually a pretty good idea. Like the chick is being all dumb and posting one word responses, then you send her a link to double rainbows or some shit and see if you can get her to say more than two words. |
