| Post subject: | Qualification, comfort and such |
Hey guys, I've been out today and it's been about two weeks since my last direct in day game. The opener was standard: "hey, I noticed you over there and you look like an interesting person! So what's your name?" (I know I forgot the pacing statement, sorry bout that!) This went like most of my other direct approaches. She stood in set for a while but she didn't look comfortable or anything. Part of it is my appearance, that's why I'm working out and dressing as good as I can. So I looked into the other possible solutions: - not enough qualification (I'm only appraoching her for her looks) - not enough comfort (I'm a random creep) So, what can I do about that? I don't really know many means of creating comfort and qualification in street game, time's too short. I introduce myself, use cold reads and I pace, but what else can I do? I have no clue how to qualify right after the direct opener though...it would just seem out of place or weird if I use a big hoop after the DO. Suggestions? How do you handle qualification and comfort? |

The way how you opened it was too obvious, she knew your intentions. Find a more casual way. |
