| Post subject: | Girl i met on the bus...HB8/9 |
So.. heres the story i went to a festival and i caught the last bus home, on the bus was one of my old school friends who sat next to the HB. I engaged conversation with my friend and asked what they both got up to during the evening, the HB tells me she has just finished work, i asked her what she did - blah blah. we then spoke about going on holiday, i asked her where she was going and if she was going with friends, she said she was annoyed that she hasn't had her "girly holiday". I left the bus but felt annoyed i didn't get her name or number...but i bumped into the same friend and asked for the name, i tracked her on facebook and opened her with "Hey we met on the bus..you were sat next to *friends name*...don't worry, I'm not a stalker we spoke for a while then got her number, i text her saying "guess who? i bumped into her again on the bus, we spoke but she was sat next to her grandma and felt like i had to behave in a way, we spoke about what she did, where shes looking for work, i gave her some advice on what to do...Then after i got off the bus i text her to and asked if her tan was real or fake (shes recently come off holiday) she gave me a bit of a telling off, so i said it looks nice and that we should make our meetings more regular..she said she'll see, so i said "I wont be on the bus every hour or day of the week later on that night i text her saying that "its cold tonight, do you need somebody to keep you warm?" and she said "im actually pretty hot tonight. thanks for the offer though Thats basically it...judging from this would you say im getting somewhere slowly? or am i screwing it up? Any advice would be great..thanks! Casonova |

its like your acting with her in such a manner that assumes shes head over heels for you. I know one of the PUA rules is "ASSUME ATTRACTION". but really that only works in certain situations and scenarios (mostly ONS and intense environment stuff; where the physical and sexual tension can be expressed greatly) but in this case, what have you done to garner any attraction? all i see is that you asked her some basic questions, then got her contact without getting it from her directly, then asked some more basic stuff, then asked her out. all the while acting like your above her or your famous or some shit. none of that garners attraction. actually its probably repulsed her in some ways but shes remaining civil with you. work on building attraction. value is attractive. read up on building value within yourself as a man, and also on the specific things that make women horny/turned on. |

Harsh but entirely true. You're probably coming across as creepy; you need to actually build some sort of attraction before flirting that directly and intensely. Plus you need to establish that she's definitely attracted to you, otherwise she'll be running in the opposite direction when you say things like that. Her response to your flirting kinda proves that - and now she'll most likely tell her friend about it and she'll start to think you're a creep too.Bottom line is, you need to build attraction and comfort first, else she'll feel uncomfortable when you overtly flirt with her. |

Its cool, i appreciate honesty...generally feel like ive dug myself in a hole... Would it be best if i just stay away from her for a while? we both went to the same school, and we were talking about one of the teachers who was a bit of a douche (comfort, attraction?) we're both young, im 19 and shes 18. shes never had a boyfriend. what can i say to build comfort between us? |

oh and i asked her if there was a difference between loving someone and being in love and she responded with "Oh wow!...erm welll in loving someone you could think you love them but there always could and possibly be doubts. whereas being in love i suppose you know if someones the "the one" the feelings mutual and you're both happy being together blahblah. im the worse person to ask this because ive never loved someone or been love! ha x" |
