Okay I'm not completely sure if mid-game is the right section for this but I didn't know where else to put it. The situation is as follows:

I have a female friend who I fell into the friend zone with quite a while before I discovered game. At first I thought this would be bad, but she has quite a few attractive friends, so it turned out to not be such a bad thing. One of these friends said to her that she thinks I'm hot and didn't care if my friend told me or not, and she knows that I think she is. My friend is going to bring her along next time I have people over for a social gathering, so here's the question: How do I game a girl when she finds me attractive, I find her attractive and we both know that?

I haven't given her any attention - I haven't even spoken to her despite her knowing that I know she thinks I'm hot. I don't think a number close will be too hard and I'd planned on getting that at the very least. I know about cat string theory and DHV, but what I mean is, do I really need to spend time trying to build attraction through DHV or should I just try tbuild rapport and escalate since it' already been established that she's attracted to me?
