(Background: This girl n I used to see each other a lot at school so we talk when we see each other, but since summer started we haven't met up once, but she did set something up for us to meet a few weeks ago but got rain out. Then I set something up but she couldn't leave her internship normal time they where keeping her until late, n after that my internship was keeping me late. Both are internships are in the city but they are far from each other.) I hit this girl up on FB (We haven't spoke to each other for a while) last night around 4am, we started to talk about are internships n how they are working us to the bone n other things, then I ask her about her b-day n this is the chat. My question is should I take her out for her birthday or just call her n say happy birthday and move on? Me How dose it feel that ur turning 29 next week...haha :p (She is turning 24 but I'm 20 so I always try to make her age negative thing for gaming reasons....The funny thing is I turn 21 three days after her b-day) Her lolol im not sure but i did something bad and looked at my ex bfs fb Me .....and Her i saw a pic of him and the girl on his bed ol he isn't smiling he was happy with e me lol Her lol... Her well at least he's getting booty Me yeah, I guess. Me Have u gone out since then. Her no just with girls Me So you been going out to bars n clubs. with ur girls Her no just dinner lol Me So when was the last time u actually had fun then Her awhie Me are YOU going to change that this weekend by going out, have u made any plans for ur b-day. Her nope dont pln to lol Me ugh, (Her Name) Have ur parents or any ur girlfriends mention anything about ur b-day for plans Her haha its okay i dont wnat to celebrate honestly I didn't know what to reply so I just left it blank n didn't answer her, so what do you guys think? |

Dude, wtf? You're being a complete pussy not taking things further. You: So when was the last time u actually had fun then Her: awhie You: Let's change that. You and I are gonna go to...X place on Xday. Even if she isn't DTF, something like that would have been your best shot here. You were asking so many fucking questions, and not leading this conversation. It could have possibly gotten you somewhere, but you were too scared to escalate it. You need to work on your game. Why were you even interested in knowing about her ex bf? Who care about that guy. But she continued to talk and you continued to listen like the good nice guy you are. Stop caring about irrelevant things like ex bfs or what her plans are for her bday. YOU lead. YOU set up a meeting. Also it smells like this chick is just uber-depressive, and a little attention seeking. You're headed for the friendzone if you don't act soon. |
