As you can probably guess, the girl I was going after wants someone else. We met at the forth of July, she was a friend of my cousin. Anyways, she wanted to get to know me better. We went planned to see each other one day. The date went weird, she claimed to be a physic. But she did a good job! I can tell she read a book or studied up on cold reading. I went ahead and tried to make her mine, but she responds with "look I'm sorry blah blah but I like someone else, I didn't think you wanted anything more than a relationship" Shit, I fucked up. But she told me she can't be with this guy because of complications... Whatever that means. Any advice? The PUA community here is probably the most respectable communities I've ever seen. I can rely on you guys for honest advice. |

I would direct you towards the "Straw man technique" stickied above. straw-man-technique-vt43374.html |

Well, hold on a second. Normally, I would totally agree. Straw Man to the end of it. BUT I think this is sort of a special situation here we should examine: Straw man works because a woman begins to darken her perception of her boyfriend because he's not living up to the ideal that you are creating in her mind. In other words, her reality doesn't match your fantasy image. And a woman usually wants to view the world as congruent to her fantasy desires. So, with this girl, she's not with this other guy. They're basically "star-crossed" in her mind. And the reason they may not be together, since she's really into psychic shit, could be something like their astrologies don't match. Bottom line is, to her, this other basically is a fantasy that she has created. No, I"m not saying he's imaginary. But fellas, we do this all the time. You meet a girl, and suddenly, you start filling in the blanks. You create an image of this girl that is projected from what you want rather than the bland image of who she is. Now multiply this effect times 1000, because she's a woman. This guy is a bunch of projected fantasies. So if you counter with Straw Man technique, you're just basically aligning yourself with her fantasy. In other words, reinforcing her made-up ideals about this guy. This is just my theory, without any more information on her relationship with this guy (though you probably don't know much more either). To be honest, it's midnight where I'm at, and let's just say I had a sweet night. So even I'm going to tell you that what I said above may be shit, and Straw Man is the way to go. But if you read through it and it makes sense, then hold off on the Straw Man, let us know, and we'll try to create a different strategy. Good luck. |
