First off, i'm not that interested in this girl. I was just talking to her because its been about 2 years since we met up and we were good friends in high school. So i'm back and town and meeting with people i havent seen in awhile, heres the exchange. It went cold when i teased her: me:hey im in town for the weekend. we should catch up, its been too long her:yeah for sure!! i work until 5 tomorrow so maybe after that? me:thats good, where do you work? her:blah blah me: i shouldve guessed that, i was actually at blank today, didnt you work there? her:blahh blah me: well thats good. did they teach you how to play scramble? because you just lost... (its an word game app that weve been playing with each other for the past month or two) me: (18 hours later) whats there to do in nowadays? her:no idea haha. i mostly just work and swim her: i should let you know that i have to be up at 3am to drive to nebraska me:well i guess thats a no on the slumber party her:haha yeah... me:have you ever been frolfing? her:nope whats that? me: frisbee golf, ive never been either her: (no response) me: (3 hours later) i just got done playing basketball and im pretty tired. maybe another time sorry (makes it seem like she was the one asking to hang out) her: alright another time. Sorry ! Let me here the insight boys, maybe it was just her. But if it's something i could prevent in the future let me know. |

i would definatly say you have done enough cold play, now i would say that you should go out with your friends and then tell her to come along. make sure you tell her to come with, no asking and make sure you dont sound to demanding |

It's hard for me to judge where she went cold based on your write-up of the exchange because you left out what she replied. But basically i dont think your texting is interesting enough here. You were asking her a bunch of unnessesary questions when she obviously wanted to meet you from the start. My advice is to keep it simple in texts if you're not sure you can get a flowing conversation. After her initial response you could've just written "Coffee at *insert random place in town* after you're done at work" and that would be all. |

I didn't leave out any resposnes, that is the entire conversation. I wouldve asked her to meet up after work but i already had plans (playing basketball). I do agree i asked too many questions, its always been hard for me to text girls and get them to talk with more than two word sentences without asking a question or two
My advice is to keep it simple in texts if you're not sure you can get a flowing conversation. After her initial response you could've just written "Coffee at *insert random place in town* after you're done at work" and that would be all. |

You could have replied with: Sure (sweety), let's meet up at *location* around *time*. Keep it short and with a few texts. The texting goal is to meet up as fast as possible, not to chat with a girl. You can find it all out on the date what you want to know. Avoid being boring. I know because i always did the same. Trust me. Also a good one is: You: random text like: hey/howdy/yo yo yo/ how are you sweety/cutie/muppet/chiquita her: random response (perhaps with a haha in it) You: so do you have plans today/tonight/tomorrow...? Her: yes/no/whatever You: let's meet up at *location*, ill call you latr for the time sweety/cutie/... - or name other location Her: probably ok (assume she is available) That's it. 6 texts in total. Short, simple, funny, interesting and probably a date. Make sure that when u text, she knows immediatly that it's you without mentioning your name |

Because she doesnt answer you sometimes? SHES BUSY, you should be busy as well. She agreed to the D2, and you canceled (which is a good thing)... Why are you saying she went cold? It is rather difficult to guess the state of things over text, I understand, but STOP playing mind games with yourself. Too many times I've seen people become their own worst enemies.
