Post subject:  Keep the mid game going for a few months?

Story/background:
I met a foreign girl on holidays in a pub. (She was on holidays too). We talked for a few hours and then we made out a little. I felt like we really connected. (Mutual interests, intelligence, work…). But it was my last day so I didn’t see her anymore after that night.

I couldn’t stop thinking about her, so when I got back home, I instantly looked her up on Facebook and we started texting/mailing. (2 weeks ago).

We’ve had about 6 conversations of 10-20 texts. One of them initiated by her, the other 5 initiated by me. She always responds pretty quickly.

She lives in a big city (we live +- 3.5hours apart), and told me a few days ago, if I ever visited, she would be happy to show me around because I’ve never been there. I agreed to that proposal but then the problem occurred: She’s always working, very busy girl. She has to travel a lot for work, and the next free weekend is months away. This is not a lie to ditch me, I know what kind of work she does, and I’ve seen her calendar. (Though I can never be 100% sure of course…)

Now, the hard part is: I’m still very interested in her. And I really want to meet, so I’ll have to stay in touch (text, mail) with her for the next few months: Keep her interested, but definitely not come across as a stalker or something. In short: Get her to still want to meet me in a few months.

Questions:
The reason I’m posting this here is to get some input on what to do for the next 3-4 months in order to get that meet when she’s less busy.
1. How much contact? If she doesn’t initiate a texting conversation, when should I? Once a week? More? Less? How much is enough to keep her interested, and not annoy/bore her.
2. Any other thoughts or suggestions? What to talk about? A weekly “How was your weekend?” will probably do more harm than good from what I’ve read here. Everything is welcome!

Thanks in advance!
(Reading info on the forums too SPAM.)
