i made a comment about her being in law school and being my attorney in a flirty way and she responded 40 min later so i figured i wont respond til tomorrow just to keep her thinking? good?

Time frame for texting depends on the person. If she's taking a hour to text back each time, big deal, other people do have their own lives you know. There's no reason to stick to a strict "if she takes this long, you take this long" routine because in my opinion that's just mental masturbation, personally if a girl texts me after an hour and after seeing the text I think of something very quick witted, I'll just text back right away, if we're in a generic text conversation and I'm doing things (work, playing guitar, whatever) then I'll text back when I'm done/have a break. The only thing you need to watch for is if you instantly text back everytime when she isn't as that then looks like you're waiting by your phone for her, but every now and then is fine you don't needd to stick religiously to the "rules".

The content of your texting is far more important than when you do it.

So i was going to a party, i posted it on facebook. this HB10 (not exagerating 1 bit, i've banged some hot chicks in my life and she'll definately be top 3) so i get a text message saying "hey its veronica from fb whats the deal with that party?" So i put her on my friends guestlist and she got in. She texted me to come say hi and thanks with a heart and smiley. problem was i was with my x so i had to avoid her. i said fukit and texted her next day being cocky funny. she went from taking 2 minutes to taking an hour within the 2 day span we been talking so far. she also liked a couple of my satuses. question is how can i know if im annoying this chick or not? she told me last night that it was nice talking to me with a smiley. we texted thru out the whole day yesterday and today. why is she taking an hour to text bck? am i just over thinking or is she being nice cuz i hooked her up? -S

You're already losing the game here... You need to regain the control. Insert a time differential in your responses. NEVER guess why she doesn't text you back... Never be negative in a text either. She takes 10 minutes, you take 15... She takes an hour, you wait an hour and a half. If she texts after 10pm - I either sext or gain compliance if she's DTF then/there if I am available - or if I don't think it'll work, I go to sleep. You train her to realize she's always waiting for a text from you, not that she 'owes' you one... You also, by being positive, make her realize the texts from you are fun - and inviting. If I have a quick reply sometimes I'll use it but only when I already had some investment by the girl! I only do this rarely, most of the time I'll just put my phone away and by the time I'm ready to respond something even better comes to mind... The rest of the time (99%) I'll wait a little while before I reply...

You have your way which works for you, I have my way which works for me. Hence why I said "In my opinion it's mental masturbation". I'm not critising anyone, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I can only give opinion's based on my own experiences, if something has worked for me I'll always offer that as an option to people who are struggling in that area. There's no reason to bicker about such things when it would seem we are both having success regardless of what 'method' we are using.
