Post subject:  How do I deal with military AMOGs?

I have a few friends in the military, and some of them, especially the older ones are awesome guys and really level-headed when dealing with stress.

The younger ones, the ones who usually go out trying to pick up ladies at bars, are usually the AMOGs. I see of them use their service as a tool to pick up ladies, and try to make themselves appear to be better than every other guy.

I want to ask for advice on dealing with these guys who go overboard and try to inflate their own egos by mentioning their service (Some haven't seen combat, but I understand the training and lifestyle is tough). I also need advise on the response to these two things which I always hear them say.

Example 1: "I serve, and I am proud to serve! What do you know of courage? You don't reveal courage until you serve!"

Example 2: "I served this country, so what the hell have you done?"

Thanks.

If you see them as competition, they will be. But I will give you this, MOST (NOT all) military men have a brain the size of a pea, so kicking their mental ass would be a breeze.

True that.

I have a lot of respect for all military organizations in the world and the people who serve in it. But that doesn't stop some of them from being, as you say, pea-brained.

Still, I'd like some priceless scalpel-edged stuff to neutralize those two examples of the things they say.

I was an officer in the Marine Corps (infantry), and I wish I could say that most guys don't use this as a means of picking up girls..... like you said, some of them haven't deployed, I would think that would be the younger guys.

Not sure about them but I never really reviled what I did for a living when I was in the MC. When girls asked me my usual "go-to" profession was that I was a professional hopscotch player (read that on the forum?) or after I established that I like to joke around I told a few girls that I got hired to club baby seals, made up some story about how the baby seal population is a real problem down in Antarctica..... it was pretty funny and she thought I was crazy but eventually got a good laugh.... wouldn't recommend doing that thread (it was when I was in the MC).

I would say for your problem I would either laugh it off or get real detailed questions about what they have done, basically AMOG-ing them back. "Oh you don't reveal courage until you serve... where have you served?" but ask like you are genuinely want to know....... the fact of the matter is any real retard can pass Paris Island or Fort Bening (Army?) or whatever basic training they have completed, so keep that in mind.... and if all else fails you can make up a story about how ur buddy (Cretin105) was a 0321 Marine came back from a deployment and was out of his mind and put his girlfriend into the hospital because she jumped out at him to surprise him for his birthday (BTW this didn't happen, which is why I said a MADE UP story).

Thanks for that. I've also heard of lots of people faking their military careers to get some, saying that they were Special Forces, Rangers or SEALs.

Last year, I once told a lady that I got paid to ferry anglers around and cast-net shrimps for live bait. She got a good laugh out of it, and she didn't know that I was telling the truth at the time.

Friend them. Don't try to compete. They'll throw out the "Red, White and Blue" and you look like a dick trying to fight that.

I'm a vet as well (E-6, USAF, 1N373A).

If you have anything manly in your background - USE IT as a bridge. I used to isntruct martial arts, and I rode professional rodeo - it's simply AMOG battle material now. But I always do it as part of the group, compliment them - find ways to slowly throw in DHV spikes from your own background when you can - if front of the target but not directed to her. Do it in conversation!

If you friend the group - and start to turn game towards the target - you can LEAD the group. That's when the magic happens. Seriously, you won't win - they'll team up if need be. You don't compete - you simpy use them as tools to help you get to the target.

Very interesting. My country's flag isn't red, white and blue but I get what you're saying (add yellow and you have my flag).

One of my lady friends, a 7, used to be my wing at one point, and was really good at using the right negs to make them look like immature tools just trying to prove themselves, and it always worked.

Now she's off doing grad school in another country, so I have to be a big boy on my own! :)

Post subject:  Hi

You can say to them.

U served your country well done. Then hug them.

Then turn around to the girls and say I served my country by sleeping with 100 hot beautiful blond women. They were starving for sex. Being a man I had to help them out.

How about u guys.

Its all psychological warfare. If they get physical, by squashing your hand and stuff, tapping your back very hard. Man go someplace else.
