Post subject:  Great date turned bleah - can I save it?

Had a date last night with an HB8 which was going really well....definitely created attraction, had her laughing, was rubbing on her leg and teasing, etc. I had met her online and her dating profile had not so subtle hints of DTF.

Then we went to a bar where some of her friends happened to be and sat down and I kind of blew it. Had little to say, was not engaging and to make matters worse, some really polished PUA surfer dude moved in and almost swept her away from me and definitely embarrassed me in front of her (i was visibly embarrassed).

I should have been more manly at the end when she hugged me goodbye but I just pretended not to be attracted to her and said goodbye.

So now that I am sober, I realize we were both a little drunk and she was definitely hot for me early in the night.

I wanted to text her either way because it's the classy thing to do. What's a text I could send that is like a nice meeting you text but also that leaves the door open in case she's still interested?

Cocky & Funny, It's the magic spell!

I was hoping you could get some ideas on the site, re-word or use as is.

Can you think of something you were joking with her about in the begining of the date? Something that might have come the next day that made you think of her? That will get her thinking of the good part of the date and not the end.

Nice advice! Did the C&F thing and she responded saying she had fun too. But that she was busy this weekend and said "let's talk next week". Is that a soft blow off? What's the follow up? Call her next week or text or what?
