do longer messages turn girls off? ..like, our talking her on facebook/text ... and you just happen to have a lot to say...if u didnt, the conversation wouldnt be complete... but of course, they dont want to read the book you just wrote them... is saying a lot less more effective than actually saying what you want to say? this is what went down: ( i ask her whather summer plans are, weak convo, but ice only tlaked to this chick once at the gym, and she told me to add her on fb)

n: must be nice.. my semester has been brutal.. non stop assignments :/ still have like 3 assignments left LOL kill me
and not really.. getting my apartment then working all summer :) yu?

me: oh shit thats sick, your own place? .... my parents left for vacation in march...so i had the entire place to myself and when they got back it felt like they were visitors in my place lol ... thats how happy i was to have 7 days of freedom... im hoping to work more this summer, and volunteer.. it looks really good on a police application + i want to get more experience dealing wiht ppl.. so im thinking hospital or crime stoppers

Never say more than needs to be said. For your last message I'll put in bold what I'd have taken out of there:

me: oh shit thats sick, your own place? .... my parents left for vacation in march...so i had the entire place to myself and when they got back it felt like they were visitors in my place lol ... thats how happy i was to have 7 days of freedom... im hoping to work more this summer, and volunteer.. it looks really good on a police application + i want to get more experience dealing wiht ppl.. so im thinking hospital or crime stoppers

So that gives us:
me: thats sick, your own place? .... my parents left for vacation in march...im hoping to work more this summer, and volunteer.. it looks really good on a police application so im thinking hospital or crime stoppers

Notice how much 'cleaner' that looks? You're still giving her all the information but keepng it simple and to the point. You can even add to the end of that "Have you ever done any volunteer work?" as a feeder question to keep the convo going and as a little DHV.

It's all about the context. For example the other night I was texting a girl about various things, then I had a question to ask her but there was ALLOT of info required for her to answer it. So I told her "I need to explain the situation first before I ask" went on this long story about how the night before the guy I know offered me a £1000 'cause apparently he won the lottery and told her to tell me when she's ready, then I asked "would you take the money?", this lead into a good convo about how me n her think alike and I know both her attraction and comfort went up, all stemming from that really long text.

However, I generally find it good practice to try and keep your texts short, concise and to the point for the majority of the time. If she's writing more than you are, it's a very good IOI, however if you find yourself coming up against 1-word answers, "haha", "lol", "yep", "thanks", and the like then bring in the reigns a little, or even (as I've been doing with the girl above) if you get one of those answers, just don't even bother responding, you shouldn't have to fight to keep her responding as it just digs your hole deeper

i understand what you are saying, but if i wrote :

the bolded part wouldnt really fit, its incomplete ... and if i didnt say the rest of it then it would ahve been a dry n boring reply ....but i see what you mean when trying to keep it short n sweet

its really strange though... she started the convo after i commented on her status at like 9pm or so... then we talked for a bit (the convo above) then she doesnt respond.... then she "likes" the comment i made, at 3 a.m., HOURS after she hadnt responded

im just going to go with ...shes got Girl ADD

it might not be your message, more how interested in you she is, sometimes a girl just wants some attention so she can talk about herself or her problems for a while to unload some emotional garbage onto you

but as a side note, when hanging out, try to just have fun and keep the focus on who you are talking with

a simple ''my semester has been pretty awesome, tell me more about this apartment you are getting, is it fancy?'' would have been good enough, give as little away about yourself as you can, to be fairly honest most people are fairly self centered and don't really give two shits about you beyond how much you offer them in terms of something of value and what a person values is subjective (think about this for yourself, most of the people you want to hang out with present some sort of value to you that motivates you to pursue their company, whether that be sex, emotional stimulation, parties, long term emotional investment, the list goes on, there is usually a reason why you are motivated to want to talk to someone, for girls it is usually because she is attractive and you want to have sex with her and that will be your main motivation, if you don't agree think of girls that don't offer anything of value to you, do you try to speak to them? *think unattractive and boring to talk to*)

basically, you just have to figure out what motivates her and stay away from what de-motivates her, as long as the benifits for her outweigh the negatives she will continue to want to talk to you, figure out what sort of value you have to offer, then offer it, in return try to seek out investment from her so she can continue gaining what you have of value to offer *think meetups and escalation*

if she won't invest in the product, chances are she doesn't see enough value in the product, so you have a few options at that point

-move on and pitch the product to another buyer

-re-pitch the product in a new way (least effective as the buyer already has a solid impression of what the product is)

-improve the product so that it has more value to offer (best way to get more buyers to invest)

I like this, especially number 2.
