| Post subject: | How to Release in A3? |
I'm having trouble understanding how to properly "release" a girl after I qualify a trait about her. After she tells me something that I truly find interesting, I don't know what to say to disqualify. I find it weird in some topics to just suddenly say something like "I can't talk to you anymore". For example, she tells me she likes singing. If I were to say: "Thats pretty cool, but now that I now that about you, I can't talk to you anymore," it just feels fake and doesn't flow logically from the conversation. What are some other ways to release during A3? |

You feel weird because it's out of your comfort zone so you nurture a slight internal resistance to doing it. Most guys do, you need to push through the awkwardness or force it upon yourselves to be able to work smoothly under pressure. And this is probably slightly combined with an anxiety you have that you might push her away too hard so you're inclined to QUALIFY HER instead of DISQUALIFYING her, but alas, this reaction is exactly what you need to invert. You're problem is of execution, not actually understanding A3. You're also coming off way to rigid and self-conscious about your neg, probably because you're too outcome dependent. Let go of the idea that you actually need to close. You're just trying to have fun. Her: "I'm a singer!" You: "Oh god, I can't talk to you anymore" Her: "Whatt why?" You: "I got my heart broken by a singer once, never saw women the same way after" Her: "Was she pretty?" etc, be ambiguous and playful. The purpose of releasing is to supplant the assumption that she has more value than you. It's a subtle way of asserting dominance, control, and preselection. |
