Stop caring. Why do you feel the need to compare yourself to him? If it doesnt matter to you then it wont matter to anyone else. Jobs and money arent everything.

This just reminded me that my friend was going around on St. Patricks day introducing himself as Stephen Groupon, the founder of Groupon. This was funny for a lot of reasons. However, the best reason is that girls totally bought it and were taking pictures with him and totally ho-ing it up.

Good times.

Anyway, I always dodge the job question.. I tell them I am dark and mysterious for a living.

Anyone else open this thread expecting to see the line "My wing keeps out gaming me!" fair enough if that were the topic. Believe it or not money is not as big of a deal as you might think.

so im a student and the guy i usually go out with is a pharmacist, were the same age, but its really hard to say or do anything when he brings up the fact that hes a pharmacist whether at the beginning or 10 minutes into a conversation (so basically he makes 100,000/year and as a student, its like a fail by comparison waitin to happen).

How would you deal with that?

That is exactly what I was expecting. I have that problem with my wing. He's got like four years of practice on me. If I open a set and let the conversation lull my wing will swoop in and take her right out from underneath me. I'm not going to cockblock him so I let him take her, but this happened three times this weekend.

It was my first time out since overcoming my approach anxiety. So, I haven't said anything yet. I feel like he would respect my wishes if I asked him to back off. I'd rather watch him work for now so I can learn from him.

@DUbL-eS hahahashaha. shit that is fucking hilarious and perfect. jfk696 that is totally what you should do lol. and like everyone else said, dont worry so much about comparing yourself to others. just be confident in yourself. i find one of the things that women find most attractive is confidence, and if your having trouble with your confidence than i would suggest you check out some of the things about building an attractive lifestyle. that should boost your confidence. like me, i have ben snowboarding for 8 yrs, i play the guitar, sing, and DJ (bitches love that shit), and to top it all off i got into body building about 8 months ago and love it. i would definatly suggest you do the body building. there is probably a gym on your campus and working out will give you a more attractive lifestyle, body, and boost your confidence

From seeing the responces, you can see that almost anything can be taken advantage of. Make it a joke like DUbL-eS did. As long as your not hurting your wing, it's fine. Also, you shouldn't care. You are you, and you've got things to offer too!

How would you deal with that? Last year I was a student and had no money. Now I make almost 200k a year. I haven't seen ANY difference in the amount that women are attracted to me. Seriously. If you can't turn them on, if you can't play mind games with them, if you don't have friends, then these things will hurt you. But not having money? Doesn't matter.

If you think that he is ruining your game because he makes a shitton of money and can get all the girls because of that your sorely misreading the situation. I can promise you that he is alphaing you in every way that counts. If I go out with a billionaire and we agree i'm gonna alpha him at every turn, or just be the undisputed group leader I cant guarantee Ill get laid, but I can always guarantee that he will not get laid (exception for Russian/Chinese gold-diggers). btw: You are the not get laid guy.

I had/have this problem with my wing, I got into game first, got really good, taught him, he got really good, I decided to stop gaming to focus on other things, came back into gaming and he was tons better than me (his total amount of time doing it by this time was longer than I'd done it for). So for ages he was swooping in and taking my sets and I let him, eventually told him to back the fuck off because it was hindering my progress to get back to the level I was at before. Since then he's held off a bit (helps he's just got a GF) so in the last couple months I've been getting back into my stride again and we're nearly back on level terms again.
