This happened to me last night on a salsa class. After the class there is always a party with latin and RnB so people normally stay there and dance.
After the class I talked to two girls HB6 and HB7. I had a little chat with both but then started talking to HB7 so her friend just left. We went to the bar to get some water and talked. It was quite good, there was no awkward silence but the topics were quite general still (what do you do etc.). I used kino but only touching the shoulders and moving closer sometimes, because there was too much noise. I was also teasing the girl a bit which made her laugh. Then we sat down on a couch and talked for a little bit in a semi flirty way. It was a nice conversation no awkwarness or w/e. I then asked her to dance. Music was RnB and I tried to dance close to her which I think made her uncomfortable a little. She kept fidgeting with her hair and looking away then back to me. Then after a song she told me that she needs to find her friend and just left.
Now at this point I should have said that I enjoyed her company and we should get together sometime and just asked her number, which I didn't. I just went for a piss and then left the venue without trying to find the girl. I didn't want to look to needy. I'll probably see her again next week.
Mistakes I made in my opinion : didn't escalate kino (i have no idea how to do this so any help is welcome
), didn't go for a number close. I'm also not sure dancing with her was a good idea after I successfully isolated her. The dancefloor was quite empty so this might have made her a bit uncomfortable.any advise guys ?
