it happened to me twice last night, opened great on 2 two sets with opinion openers..great responses, lots of kino and IOI's but I failed to lead conversation...1st set girls just kept on talking and talking...convos got stale when one of them started hinting about drinks ..i igonred her...they then ignored me ...ejected....other set the girl i was gaming was real sweet and it was going good until i tried to isolate her and her stupid cockblockn friend who was with a guy already ...interrupted us, drunk as hell telling me taht I SHOULD BUY THEM DRINKS because ...."thats what guys do" wtf! ...ejected ANYWAYS HOW WOULD I HANDLE BITCHES GAMING GUYS TO GET THEM DRINKS I GET STUCK ON THESE SHIT TESTS??? |

interested in the same question. especially when a girl comes out and says "you gonna buy me a drink?" either soon after opening or after a while of conversation. i've discussed it with female friends and tried it a couple of times best i've come up with is "I don't want you to feel like you owe me something. How about you get this round i'll get the next. We're challenging gender stereotypes *smile*" it works ok but i tend to find if a girl asks me that shes not really that interested and does just want a drink out of me. |

I have had it before like that, the first set you talked about is what I would say just 2 women wanting some drinks from guys. What sugarmclovin said was pretty right, some women aren't even interested in anything else but "free" drinks when they go out. Tell them to get this round including you and you'll get the next one. Plus I actually am the first one sometimes to tell the lady to buy me a drink first, I think they are kinda shocked cause no guy asks for one. HB- "You should buy me a drink" Me- "You haven't given me a reason why I should" HB- "Because I'm good company, blah, blah, blah" Me- "Well for that reason you should buy me one" Not too sure if that will work for you but it did work twice for me. Critique it for me if you want. |

Always make them buy you one first. I think them asking you to buy one straight away is a bit of a test to see what you do. I once saw a girl buying about 6 shots of tequila, walked up and asked for one and she said I should buy her one. I said something like you have to buy me one first. At first she wasn't having it, but I said something similar again. I got a shot, never got her a drink.

If a girl asks me for a drink I'll usually just go into a prop-bet with her that I know I'll win. For example I know I will always win a thumb war so I'll say "I tell you what, if you can beat me in a thumb-war I'll get you a drink, but if I win you have to get me one, fair?" you do the thumb-war (cheap kino right from the start aswell) and win. If she refuses to get you one you could say like "Best 2 out of 3?" then if she still refuses change her forfeit to something random like "ok you don't have to get me a drink, instead you have to yell 'sausages' as loud as you can" and basically just try to transition out of that topic. |

What do you mean when you say "ejected?" You voluntarily left the set or they closed you out? Because you should always stay in set to the bitter end, if not for practice alone. You'd be surprised how dead a set can get before it can be miraculously resuscitated. Stay in set. I don't think girls stand around in bars and think "man, I really need a free drink!" Some girls think that way, but nine times out of ten, if a girl asks you if you're going to buy her a drink - especially if she's been giving IOI's - it isn't free alcohol on her mind. She's shit-testing you. You say you ignored the question. Perhaps that wasn't enough to pass her shit-test. Have a witty line ready in future. |

if you don't care about buying girls drinks and are actually willing, just trade them a makeout for a drink, when they start hinting at drinks, just start hinting at making out, her:im getting really thirsty you:no way, I totally feel like having a quick little make out session right now her:why don't you buy me a drink you:I don't buy girls drinks unless that are good at kissing, are you good at kissing? just push it in that direction and up the ante in a sexual direction, and don't give them what they want, until you get what you want, if she is only interested in the drink, she won't make out with you, if she is interested in you, she will do both and it is a win win for her, and you get a makeout and don't look like a chump via being used for a drink, and she doesn't feel like a slut because it was ''your fault, she just wanted a drink and you made her makeout with you'' |
