| Post subject: | Shy girl at gym |
I have a rule about not doing pick up at the gym. I'm there almost every day taking my workout seriously. Lately though, this somewhat shy girl has shown interest and she seems like the kind of girl who would be fun to hang around. Problem is, I have no experience approaching shy girls and I'm not sure how to handle this situation, let alone at the gym. My main issues are: 1. Things to talk about when I see her again. Last time we talked, she was really shy and it was up to me to keep the conversation going. According to what I've read about shy girls, this is to be expected. 2. Getting a date with her outside the gym. Last week was the first time we talked to each other. We were among the last people at the gym and we ended up opening each other at the same time. Prior to this, we had never talked to each other. All we've done before was smile as we passed each other and she would always look down; this is where I picked up that she was somewhat shy. When we opened each other, I was pointing out that she had something in her hair (truth) and she opened by asking me where I got the trx band I was using. I showed her where to get the band and we talked for a few minutes after that. What we talked about was basic small talk. I asked what she was working on, she told me about having some problems with her shoulder, etc. We continued doing our own workouts and ended up next to each other as we were doing stretches before leaving. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw her turn around to look at me as she got up to leave, but she quickly turned around since I wasn't looking at her. She left without saying anything which I'm attributing to her shyness. The next time I see her. I'm thinking I can just approach her, ask her how her shoulder is doing, initiate some kino, and finally get her name. After that though, I'm not sure what to talk about. Also, any ideas on how to set up a date with this girl? |

Fuck this is so terrible man this forum is hilarious. Why are you wasting your time with small talking when you want to get to know her on a romantic/sexual level? The fuck? Tell her you think shes hot and you want to get to know her on a more sexual/romantic level and cut this lame "is your shoulder still hurting lolz" BS. You could give a fuck about her shoulder. |

You're completely right. The only thing is, I have a problem with taking this approach at a place I go to regularly; I'm there 5-6 times a week. Maybe a good idea to let this one go and leave my social life outside of the gym.

I Disagree. Never Underestimate the Slow game. Next time you see her ask/recommend "Core" Tips. Joke about how u have a feminine work out and your all about tone right. Then Facebook or Number close it Suggesting to meet up and work out again. Then you have her outside the gym without looking like a Dick. i feel just like u about picking up at the gym... about i've done this twice and i'm still cool with both girls and its not weird at all. Go For it |
