Firstly, this girl knows I have a girlfriend.

When I first ran into this girl, I had spoke to her a little bit before. We were both drunk, but she looked at me in the club, grabbed my hand and we started dancing. I had my hand around her hips I think, and she held my hands or placed them on top after we danced. We danced again later again, and I'm fairly sure she initiated that as well. Afterwards she told me I was awesome I think.

She's also been by room a few times(live on same apartment hall as well on campus), but she always brings her roommate. Except once, the morning after we met she came over for help with "stretching" before dance practice.

I feel that most people wouldn't normally ask for help stretching without another motive in mind as well. She and her roommate also came by yesterday to pick up a cupcake I offered her to come get.

Anyway I've been texting her here and there, I normally initiate, which I don't think is tooo bad because she knows I have a girlfriend and I'm thinking she's afraid to text first.

Well now I texted her a picture of a pug that ate a cupcake or something, and she said because it was yum. And I just said yeah i bet, and let it end there to see if she'd respond on her own. So 30-40 minutes later, she just now asked me how was class... I figure that by the time I get a response, it'll be a few hours, so I'm going to go ahead and maybe wait like 15mins to respond.

But I feel like she's pretty into me, but I really suck at this, and I could use some help from here lol...

That's actually pretty helpful... I haven't really been using enough flirty humor. I'm sort of passed openers though, so I'll have to wait til another day maybe to use one of those.

Ok I asked her what she was doing today. FYI Boo bears is a mini-workshop at school where you make your own teddy bear

she sent me exactly: Research at 4, and then boo bears...umm dinner...Basketball game

I said: I'm sorry you have to make your own boo to have a date. Hope you two have fun tonight ;) .

Is this too harsh? I followed up with a: lol jk, I'm sure you'd have no problem, have fun :)

Also the: ..umm dinner... wasn't a hint was it?

I would have said: Dinner, that sounds good. Where are you taking me?

But your text was not bad. You said she is hot, so she wouldnt actually have trouble to get a date. So negging her was good.

Lol funny, I actually thought about doing that response myself after I already sent my text. Always think of the great things when it's too late.

It went like this though:

Me: I'm sorry you hae to make your own boo to have a date. Hope you two have fun tonight ;)

HB: lol yeah lol

Me: Lol jk, I'm sure you'd have no problem, have fun :)

HB: Lol thx you too

Me: Yeahh, I'll try. Doin nothing

HB: _____ and I are going to go play kinect in your room one day this week :-)

Me:Haha OOK, we can play the dance game. But I saw what you can do @ stompfest!

HB: Lol mess up :-)

HB: hah but yeah let us know

Me: Don't sweat it, you did great, I only noticed cause I was watching you @ the time. But yeah I will.

HB: Hah well thx :-) I appreciate the support :-)

Me: Yeah cause next time it is no mercy lol

Me: Sure is!


The problem I have now is...how the hell do I get her to stop bringing her friend along? They are roommates, in the same sorority, and also are the same major. They have almost no reason not to be together all the time!

What do you mean by so much potential? But all 3 of us are juniors, and the other girl is also a lot less attractive as well (imo). And all the rest of the detail is in my first post.

It sounds to me like you are in the friends zone and need to get out of it.
Tell them (mainly talking to the friend) you want a to throw a party but you need a big house to use. They have a sorority house. I used this 2 years ago and it was amazing. Offer up the idea of a "highlighter dance party". Chicks go apeshit more glowy stuff and dancing. By you organizing the party, your status will be instantly increased.

This worked for me in a semi-similar situation. So if it sounds like a good idea to you I can give more details.

I also forgot to mention that I was actually the one to suggest that they BOTH come over to play kinect awhile back, that was when I was drunk though... I was super serious though as you can tell.

I also broke up with my gf (not for this reason/girl, it was just a matter of time), but this I am hoping will make it a bit easier to get out of the possible friend zone. I don't think either of us think me as a cheater (which I'm not really, I figured I'd start talking to girls already since my relationship was going down the gutter).

But I do like your idea about the party, but it seems like a ton of work for one girl so I'll have to pass on that one lol.
