I'm interested in a coworker. She gets shy around me sometimes and blushes, and sometimes just cold. It would seem a bit cat and mouse back and forth. I tend to tease her and avoid her a lot. Sometimes I'll throw her off with a big hug. The other day at work I ask her a question based on her other profession. She starts talking, I'm grinning, she blushes and stops mid sentence and says "I hate you." while blushing. I walk away smiling. That should be a good indicator right?? Well... During texting she used "buddy". So I did the same and threw in "bud.". I'm not that much of an idiot and can be a shameless flirt, but isn't this ALWAYS a friendzone term? If not, please enlighten me. I actually like this one. I have actually avoided sleeping with other coworkers because word travels fast. She's a catch. |

I know this doesn't really help, because frankly I don't know the answer. What i do have to say is that in my experience its not good to over think things, just causes stress and doubt. (I know this is shitty advice because you cant just stop over thinking, but I hope it's still helpful in some way.) |

Thanks, gentlemen. Much appreciated for the advice. The only thing that lingers is "buddy". Just so... Friendly. Maybe I should bring up the flirtation level and call her the same thing, and continue avoiding? Either way, I will update. |

If she says buddy, you amp it up and call her baby. If she doesn't like it, who cares, what do you have to lose? Remember, you`re the alpha, you call the shots. |
