Hey guys i've gotten past the whole approach anxiety thing I think, it doesn't really matter which opener you use just, it's basically just to break the ice. What I am after is any tips anyone has on where to go and good things to say after you have started a conversation with the hb, any suggestions? |

routine stacking fills in the silence. DHV her friends, Neg her/Disqualify yourself If it's two girls, do the Best Friends test by Style Guy and a girl, Ask how long they've been dating Big group, ask them how they all know each other etc... |

I definitely agree that transitioning after the opener is more important than the opener itself. I try to practice this a lot with drills. Omalie cat mentioned the best friends test. This is great because its a light hearted, fun cold read. Any half decent cold read will help ignite the convo and DHV you. When I'm in set I look for anything to cold read on early on... Body language, how they dress, or just make it up completely. Just make sure it's not supplicating on your part. Stuff like, "haha, maybe i shouldn't have asked YOU (the opener)...you look like a man hater Cold reads make people you have no rapport with feel connected to you because you are addressing their ego, they love that. Notice that you're also frame setting which makes you alpha It's much easier to go into a normal convo after this. Everfresh |

I keep this post brief2 things: 1. you are not over you AA. No one is! 2. An opener is no more than the opener. If your innergame is good, your flow will keep the conversation (and the bonding) going. If your innergame is not that good yet, use canned material (preparations, routines, neggings, etc.) |

My problem is also with the midgame. After the opener, i find i hard to keep them engaged. |
