Post subject:  Approach then Neg
Guys i'm at the stage of approaching indirectly which I seem to be doing fine. The part i'm not getting is where people recommend that after you have opened to then Neg the target. It seems a little silly to go " Hi I need a female opinion on .... , .. By the way your ear rings look stupid" Does anyone have any better examples of how they go about doing this?

Its not meant to be Open>Neg, Its like Open>Convo>Playful Neg

Keep in mind that the neg shouldn't be an insult, you want her to laugh. its just showing that you don't think shes all high and mighty like she may be used to, most guys wouldn't dare neg a girl in fear of losing her.

Without trying to over-complicate, sometimes it depends on what kind of girl you're approaching. A HB7 would be as simple as an opener -> convo (get her name -> neg... an 8.5 or above might require a opener with a neg (DHV).

Good luck. Dont forget to post your field report in the appropriate section even if it doesn't work out. Some of the more experienced guys on here can help you to understand where/why any attempts went wrong.

But i know that if you want to open a 10, you can open her with a direct NEG.
Is it true?
