| Post subject: | JDog's height? |
One of my biggest sticking points in my game is my height (5"8) - in clubs and other social areas I always feel like less of a man than the 6 foot plus-ers. But, I noticed JDog isn't very tall either, and it's been kind of an inspiration knowing someone short can be a master as well - it was always a bit discouraging knowing Mystery was 6"5 and towers over everyone from the start. But does anyone know actually how tall JDog actually is? |

I think he's in between 5'6 and 5'10 based on what I can tell from video clips. He's not a very tall guy but I know a really short Asian guy I go out with who's like 5'4 and he does a really good job. But, I noticed JDog isn't very tall either, and it's been kind of an inspiration knowing someone short can be a master as well - it was always a bit discouraging knowing Mystery was 6"5 and towers over everyone from the start. hey man im in the same situation, im a short guy, and i know what u mean about feellin like less of a man than the taller guys. but u know what, half the time those taller guys are more behind on their game than you are probably. and another thing, if your thnking about that when your out .. girls can sense it and you'll reak of it. so dont think like that. yea being short sucks sometimes, but the only girls that are really guna hold it against you are bitchy stuck up ones. you can neg the hell out of them to bring em to ur level. the rest of girls dont fault a guy as long as hes pretty cool. and one final point. being short can have its advantages too. when u think about it, a lot of girls always say they only date tall guys or theyve never had luck with short guys. the reason they say is because shorter guys usually come off as less confident. so right there bingo! if your a short guy and your confident, ur more of a rarity. when you start gamin them = game over. |

I agree with you on your last point, slyguy. If a man can overcome his physical shortcomings and prove against the odds that he is a high value person, a women will value him more than a man who has everything in his favor. Simply because he can endure the negative things and still prove great. Whereas, the more attractive person is seen as having of a freeride and not developing his confidence through trial. Neil Strauss was for a long time regarded, and maybe still is, as the best PUA on the planet. And he was only 5.6. He himself said that being short is a positive quality once you've gained competence. Remember, in terms of picking up women, true stature comes from within. I know that sounds corny, but if you come over as confident, women will picture you bigger than you actually are. |

Watch David Faustino on Neil Strauss' myspace..... He's 5'3 and you'd think he's 8 feet tall. |

I've used this a few time when my height is pointed out while talking to people...bear in mind I'm 5 foot 3 5 foot 4. Somewhere around there "I've decided I can never be friends with really tall people because we'd always secretly hate eachother. He'd be able to reach the top shelf, and I can blend into a large group of people better." |
