Hey guys, just wondering why there never was a season 3?

A lot of the guys in my area loved the show. They weren't involved with PUA at all, these were just high school buddies who saw it and thought it was either a) hilarious b) intriguing c) just good ole reality television.

I guess I thought it did better than it really did?

there wasn't really a reason for a third season, they proved their point (Mystery Method Works, though most people agree you can do way better in other ways) and it didn't attract that many viewers

That's not really entirely true. The first season
gained 673 000 viewers which was disappointing but
season 2 got 1.8 million viewers which is pretty
impressive. If you look on the internet there
are rumors going around that Mystery and
his wings are in negotiations for a third
season with VH1 but there are no
conclusive decisions or real word
on what is going happen just yet.

There was also alot of controversy
around the fact that it was a
coincidence that Kosmo
was persuing an acting
career before the show
aired. In his video
biography in the show I
think they showed him as a video programmer?
I mean, it would raise alot of eyebrows for an
"AFC" to come into a house who just happened
to be studying acting at the time, VH1 then
changed his bio to refute any controversy
from the show to maintain its raw and
reality show style of the show of
the contestants...

Nontheless, I'm also holding thumbs
for a S3 of the show.

Good job on the research

regardless of the controversy, Kosmo was good for the show. however, i always wonder why Mystery kept Pradeep around more than he deserved to. VH1 idea?

and i wouldn't mind a season 3 either, with neil strauss along side mystery and matador

on a side note though: didn't Kosmo get a role on 90210 right after the first season?

Pradeep was actually kept around for 2 more weeks because
he got saved from a contest involving how to
talk to girls and getting their attention, he cheated in
the contest and gained immunity regardless, thus inturn causing
conflict amongst him and his housemates because he cheated
and did not win fair. He also
got saved another week after that from one of
the house mates (I think it was Joe W)
because he felt he could do better and
needed a second chance and promised
to do better if he was immune from
elimination by being the wingman.
He even slapped one of the house
mates and didn't apologize for it
properly so this stirred even
more hatred for the guy.

Pradeep even mentioned during
the show he wasn't there to
make friends. I don't think
it was VH1's intention to
keep anyone around
longer than they wanted
to, i just think Pradeep took care
of it himself by being a dick to everyone.

I honestly don't think S3 will involve Neil cause the guy
is retired from the game and has gone back to writing again and journalism
so he's very busy I expect. Still, if they could get Style on the show that
would just be awesome. It's such a pity that there are so many other
brilliant PUA's out there with such fanatastic technique and ideas
that I don't think they would coexist on a show together. Can
you picture Mystery and Ross Jefferies doing S3 together :o Now
THAT would be a season to remember!

Anyone recommend other pickup shows out there besides The PUA & Keys to the VIP?
I learned some cool stuff from watching keys but can't seem to find any other shows like it. The judges were cocky assholes though, I would've liked to see them in action in the clubs rather than laughing at the contestants.
