It's really not a big deal but I wanted to hear what you guys do when you face it. I am talking about the moment when she says something negative about herself and then asks you a question to get a compliment from you or to validate herself. The thing is, I compliment her when it is neccessary and they are really original ones. Even though she goes butterflies with them, she still does this fishing thingy. For example, last night, she was telling me that I am sexy and I said, "Thanks darling, WE are a sexy couple." and wink at her. She gets the message but then looks at herself and says "Hmm... Me? Am I sexy?". I don't like repeating compliments when it is too obvious so I say with a witty smile: " I just said we are a sexy couple. The answer should be pretty clear." Then she laughs and changes the topic. |

Mack is right, 107% of the time when a girl asks for a compliment, it’s a shit test. They want to see how far their probing can yank your balls. You must respond with an unserious & aloof attitude. Some examples: - “Yes babe, you’re the most beautiful girl I know” and then immediately open up your laptop and have your background be a picture of another girl you know. - “Yes of course you’re beautiful, but if you ever got fat, I’d dump you” - “Yes, that’s why you have the top spot at my harem” And then a week later, leave a list lying around of random names and have her be #2 or 3. If she requires an extra dose of assholeness, you can respond with a straight “no.” You have to treat her compliance tests the same way you would treat over-compensatory attention seeking behavior from midgets. |
