Why get married? Seriously? I don't care if you end up dating Megan Fox, then get engaged to her, then shortly after get married to her. After awhile shit has to get boring. I seriously believe that it doesn't matter how great things were at the beginning, after awhile we all get bored. Am I wrong? I've experienced this in a freaking just a relationship. I seriously don't understand how someone can get married and after some time not be bored. You're going to be living with someone, oh my god I'd get so sick quick constantly be out of the house. |

You need to fall in love my friend! I definitely understand what you are saying but sooner or later you are going to meet a girl that you never want to let go of! As corny as it sounds, falling in love is so fu**en magical! You will never need to 'pick up' again once this happens! |

I was in love. But in that relationship I just got bored, then got sick of her. And I said wow love doesn't last. Then she started picking up more hours at work and I couldn't see her everyday and those love feelings I initially had came back. That's why as far as marriage goes, love cannot last. How can it? You see your spouse everyday most likely, when you go to sleep and wake up, it's inevitable to not get tired from that. I think the reason people stay together is because companionship love. Cuz in a marriage that passionate love that you once had dies off. And once you hit companionship love you're bored and probably thinking "is this it?" |

This is why I talk abt compatibility which is seldom spoken about in Pickup. Find someone you share similar interests with and it helps things from getting stale. It's easier to keep things fun when you're with someone who likes doing the things you would do alone. For eg, I like movies so I get into relationships with girls who like movies. That way when we spend time together we may watch a movie and are already doing something we both like. |
