More specifically, when my girlfriend is laying next to me. It doesn't happen all the time only occasionally. She tells me in the morning and apparently I say things like; "Don't leave me" "Please don't hurt me" "Do you still love me?" Really Beta type things. I have no insecurities about the relationship so I have absolutely no idea where it's coming from and I have no recollection of me saying them. How do I handle this? Do I just laugh it off? My response has usually been "Oh I was dreaming about my other girlfriend" but I can't keep saying that whenever it happens. I don't think she'd make something like this up, she's pretty secure too. |

Interesting, I've had others tell me I speak in my sleep too, though my sentences usually don't make any sense. I would record yourself sleeping a few times next to her and listen some of things you might be saying for research lol. I would just laugh it off as it's not a big deal and pretty funny. |

Fuck, not much you can do about that... if it's going to happen I would figure out a way to put a funny spin on it, if you can... or just simply pretend you have no idea what it's about (you don't sound like you do, anyway)... "Huh, that's weird, I don't remember dreaming anything like that" It's not like anyone can blame you for what you dream, or hold you accountable for it... I wouldn't feel bad about doing it, even if you're saying beta shit, it's not consciously coming out of your mouth. |
