Hey everybody, so there is this girl I want to date. We both go to the same college and have been contacting each other throughout the summer. Now that school has started, we have hung out a good amount. She has acted very interested in me pretty much every day and I was told by her friend that she is really interested in me but I act like a douche sometimes. So today was all good and we went to a music event with a bunch of friends (no drinking was involved.) We were next to each other and she was really close to me and was laying her head on me. Later, she went in to grab my hand to hold it and she kept holding my hand and would change it up and grasp my pinky, etc. All of the sudden though, she leaves real quick to go talk to her friend that was at the event but not by us. She came back and held my hand. After the event though, she started acting weird. She usually is touchy and wants to talk to me and lays her head on me, but instead it almost seemed like she was avoiding me. She didn't really get close to me, she was talking to my friends instead of me. She was acting weird and distant towards me and a few times I said, "you okay?" but she of course just said yea and acted weird still. I could tell by her face that something was wrong. It really hurt my feelings because this is a girl I really like and want to pursue and she was acting so into until a few hours before. She is a HB10 and has really great morals, which I really find attractive in women. So I don't know what to think of the whole situation. It really makes me think and it makes me scared that I won't get her. I thought I've been playing her well, but maybe not, idk. Anyone have any idea why she would act this way? Thanks

When she escalated physically by touching you, holding your hand (which is the mans job by the way) what did you do ? Did you let her know that you like her in any way ?

To me this seems like she was interested and wanted to take things further, but you were acting like a pussy. I think you should have kissed her after physical escalation.

Now the only way to save this is to just go for it. Ask her out 1 on 1 and then escalate, touch her and kiss her.

She made a move, you didn't do anything about it. She lost interest and probably sucked off a dude that will make a move.
