Post subject:  Lost Ex Update - Moved On - Perspectives from the other side

Previous Poster giving update - Lost my girl, had a difficult time, what I've learned.

Most advice here and elsewhere says welcome the breakup, and go no contact, don't be needy. Primarily this helps you move on, get your manhood back, and realize there are plenty of other women.

Will you ever get your ex back; hate to break it to you but odds are against it. Every breakup situation is unique and no contact may not be the best solution however if your posting on a forum for help odds are your past any point of really reconciling and best to follow the advice of forgetting about the ex and find someone else. You have to get back to where your in control and everything is on your terms.

My advice is figure out how to meet more women, have sex, have fun. I started by joining online dating sites. Regardless of what a female profile says, half the girls on these sites just want to meet someone they are comfortable with and have sex just like you do. I closed a HB6 after a few phone calls and 3 hrs after meeting. Then used facebook to reach out to old friends and i closed a HB7 girl on first date the same week; someone i hadn't seen for 20yrs. Hung out with her for 3 weeks and then got a date last week with a HB9 that i used to work with. I had all her clothes off after 2 drinks and we've spent 4 nights together over past week. The HB9 broke up with her bf recently and i have been able to see how i acted; he's texting her all the time, sending flowers, etc... and guess what, its making her want me more as i'm not being needy.

So the moral is, i do still miss my ex and think about her, but i know she's not coming back. If she did, i wouldn't want her as she gave up on us, went out with someone else and karma will eventually come around to her. It just takes time and effort on your part to fill the void. I know i'm still a work in progress but I'm much happier and enjoying the new HB9 for now.

And i have a new analogy to breakups. Think of it like you lost your job. Your not going to be stalking your ex-employer, you go find a new job or you suffer. Get back on your feet as fast as you can.
