Ok, I would appreciate it if anyone had any serious advice on this situation.

My close friend was on and off with a girl (who had already had a baby with some other guy 2 years ago, who fucked off and never saw her again). And anyway, he ended with her because he didn't want the package, that life etc.... she also said she was on the pill. Now she knows that my mate is a catch as he is currently at uni making a better life of himself, and shes at home looking after her first baby. He ended with her a couple weeks ago, and she turns up at his door wanting to get back, she stays over and says she cant get the train back that night, he says they are not getting back together. The next day she tries again, and then after a few hours she says shes pregnant, does 2 tests, +++.

He doesn't want to be with her, nor have a child with her. Problem is, when she told him this, he said they couldn't get back together, and his head was all over the place and he ended up agreeing to getting back with her. She is very manipulative towards him. Now that she is gone he doesn't know what to do.

She is currently texting him saying shes going to keep it, she wont get rid of it, hes being a dick for not calling her back. shes calling him all sorts saying shes having it with or without him.

Now my advice was... Tell her you want some space, say your not ready for it, it wasnt planned and that he feels forced into a relationship and that he can't guarentee they have a relationship in an unstable relationship. Saying he wants a job, and able to afford stuff etc...

Then I said just ignore her for a few days, let her text saying all sorts etc.... and then she will come round to his way.

Any thoughts? I'm sure this happens a lot.
