| Post subject: | shit tests from the steady gf |
In short-term/early-game scenarios, I think it's easy to spot the shit tests. Having played the field so long before deciding to be with my current gf, I think I forgot about the LTR-type shit tests. What do you think about this stuff: My girlfriend is one of those type A, *really* friendly girls. She is not even an 8 or anything that stops traffic, but she has this quality that seems to have guys talking to her the second I leave her anywhere for 5 mins. All her best friends are guys, btw. This girl makes me meals constantly, and does all kinds of great stuff. However, there's two things she does consistently that aren't cool. -I see her 3 or more times a week, and at some point she'll mention in passing some date she went on or an ex in passing. I have seen shit like this on maybe 2nd or 3rd dates, but not from LTR's -When we go somewhere public, especially a concert or bars, she'll usually buy my drinks, etc. Most of these times, she'll strike up a conversation with a guy at the bar and come back to me with my drink and say "i made a new friend" or "wow he was talkative" Now, I have always had zero response and no change of frame with any of this. But months in, it's getting pretty fuckin old. Any thoughts on shit like this? |

Back to the basics I think. I quote- don't react just act normal. Girls will always test you and it looks like she has fun with that, my ex was almost the same with talking about her ex and having lots of male friends. From experience can say that most probably they are orbiters so keep cool and try to be non reactive. She's buying you a drink-for me personally it would be a sighn that she is investing( my opinion). If she's coming to you with the line "I just made a new friend" I would cut the thread and start talking about something different or I would say "really, I'm happy for you, you making a progress"( dAvid deangelo credit) |

From experience, when a girl has almost "Only" male bestfriends, that's a big bad redflag, but can't really generalize here. |

Naa, lots of girls have male friends.. Chicks struggle to get along with chicks.. Chicks are idiots and fight, then don't talk to each other. Guys are easy to get along with for girls cos most of them are way too nice to them. We all know they are trying (but failing) to get in their pants.. Just watch what happens when they get a girlfriend.. the "male friend" who was strickly platonic mysteriously no longer has time for them seriously chicks are, usually, oblivious. - Some know, but refuse to allow it to affect them. Imagine that, no real friends.. Just Hovering chimps... Simply cos of how you look? that would suck ass.. i'd pretend like it wasn't happening too! 90% of girls maintain this ruse, as they obtain validation externally.. Therefore they encourage these kinds of interactions, it provides the much needed validation and feelings of worth! stroking the ego. To be a successful and more importantly secure and strong male you need to get to terms with this fact of life and accept this is likely to be a constant reality. If you are strong in your beliefs, feel confident and secure in yourself and your future you wont have these "concerns" as you'll view no other douche bag as a threat. You've got to believe that you will be ok, even without .... this girl... it's quite hard to get too but I find myself constantly telling you guys.. Your the prize, act like it. - non reactive, cos nothing phases you. |

@Maikuljay, but what if you don't want a girl who feeds her ego of having hovering chimps around her ? I know girls who are really pretty, and know when there is a hovering chimp and simply keep him away instead of keeping him as a pet. |

To be honest i've not met a girl (attractive girl) who doesn't have 1 or two guys around.. but what if you don't want a girl who feeds her ego of having hovering chimps around her ? I know girls who are really pretty, and know when there is a hovering chimp and simply keep him away instead of keeping him as a pet. social groups from schools/friends growing up with/work environment there is always 1 guy who is super nice to her and tags on as a "friend" But to her, he is.. I mean, he wont be anything else.. if he was going to, he would have by now. To answer your question I seriously believe that such a girl does not exist. They all have a friend or two. And furthermore if they're hot, they'll make "friends" instantly when out.. this is a good thing, as it's how they view them! the guys in clubs are not trying to be a "FRIEND!" they wanna be the guy fucking them.. however she has already friendzoned them. Personally, I admire a guy who can walk up and chat up my girlfriend. However, I know why he's there.. even if my girl (wants to believe) he is being "friendly" the question is how she deals with it and how I view it. No problem. There is always a line tho, you need to figure that out and set the boundaries as some girls love to push it. |

And true, how she deals with is very very important, but then again, i was referring to girls who intentionally "keep" them around, by occasionally flirting back, that's just a big no no. |

They sound like fairly standard (subconscious) shit tests. The easiest way to pass the tests is to ignore them completely or to tease her ("oh yeah, he seemed cool.. You should invite him over! maybe we should see if he wants to have a threesome. We could totally do the Eiffel Tower together *hand gestures and pelvic thrusts*). Thanks for the insights. The latest from her: She attended an industry conference for work and texted me that some guy gave her his business card. |
