Post subject:  Rye Lee's NLP Patterns
I intend to make this the first of several helpful NLP excercises that I've developed myself.

Focus on your frame and think about the good things going on in your life, or things you plan to have happen in your life. Being in a bad mood is a choice most of the time and you can also choose to not let the bad stuff get to you.

Take a DEEP breath, then let it out, closing your eyes as you're breathing in and opening them when you breathe out. Think about the bad things and let them fuel your breath in and NOTICE, how when you breathe out again, they don't affect you, they don't phase you at all, because you are secure in who you are. Negative things sliiide off of you like water off a duck's back. Notice how when you open your eyes when you are taking that breath for the third time, that you feel FULL of confidence. Notice how the world is brighter and less difficult. Feel the positive energy and positive vibes inside you and project them outwards.

That's a good NLP excercise to run through if you're feeling in a bad mood. I do it often when I'm at work and having a bad day, customers yelling at me for mistakes the company made, or that I have to charge them to fix things. The key is to take it seriously and put the stresses in while you're thinking it to yourself. If you think it in a monotone voice, it won't help, but if you think it like it's written, you will feel instantly better. I sometimes count to 10 while doing this if I'm highly stressed, but don't do that if it's going to get in the way of concentrating on the pattern. Do it while you're in a good mood and feeling empowered. Toss some good music on and do it so that the positive feelings from the music and your emotions right now, get anchored to the action of deep breathing and the eye closing/opening.

That's a pretty good idea. Now if you could find a girl to do it, specially if you could find one to do it in a sexy accent, that would be money!

just download audacity, it's a free program that records stuff. It's what, I believe, doc, tripp, and I have used to record our webinars.

or, you could just have me do it. southern is a sexy accent, right :)

I could have you do it Zip. Although Southern is a sexy accent, I'm afraid if you let a "shucks howdy" slip, that it might throw off the excercise. :P

Til this day Yall will always be better than Youz or Youz Guys!

There should be some kind of blue or pink indicator on the left hand side of posts to show if the poster is male or female.

Hah, yeah. But then again, women are pretty rare around here.
I only know of three--I'm sure there are more, but I can only think of three.
So, it's not really a huge deal.

Other than that, you can just tell if it's a guy or girl by their post lol.
