I was a political activist who got disillusioned with socialism, then found objectivism, from there (through Nathaniel Branden) I got into the Human Potential movement and there I heard about David Deangelo.

I am only starting.

>which pickup method(s) you like to use

Indirect. Just let them come to me and do everything. Not really a method. When I was kid I was bullied and everyone tried to make pranks at me. I had to be absolutely sure that it was safe to let a person come into my circle.

Reading, writing, martial arts, engineering, DIY projects

>what your goals are

To make enough money to get out of my house, to become a respected technical consultant, to live love as a safe thing.

I haven't ever had any real romantic/sexual relation with a woman. I haven't even been able to cum during sex with a woman. I am a total mess.

My main problem is low self-esteem, but the lack of money is a strong demotivator too.

Man you're right the big thing with guys is their self esteem! It's why you see all the sleezebags with the girls cause they're out there seeming self confident and the girls love that. I've been where you are, confidence wise, in school I was always put down and made fun of, had my sexuality questioned, so on and so forth. But once I got to my second half of highschool I realized that I'm better then everyone that tries to put me down. And I found something I love doing and am great at, swimming, and I excelled in it. Now you said you practice martial arts, right? So you could take that or something else you enjoy greatly and explore it! Cause remember that only you are you and no one else can be you! And if that doesn't work either, hell just pretend you are extremely confident, you never know you might just start having some confidence.

I feel where you're coming from, my advice would be to use game to get a social life, I suggest mystery method for new PUA's who lacks in the confidence area since its indirect and under the radar method is a good way to built up some self esteem.

start sarging, and then let the attraction fade, you'll have a couple of female friends in no time, and they'll introduce you to their friends and so on and so forth.

but remember MysteryMethod is far from the end-all of pick up, take the things that work for you discard the rest, try new methods.

What advice can you give to someone who has very little money?

In my day job I don't earn a salary, it only covers housing (a shared bedroom), food and health insurance. I have to work at night as a professor at the university, but that gives me only 250 USD a month.

The first things I have read on sarging focus on the night game and picking up at bars and clubs, spending a lot of money on clothes, drinks, having an apartment and a car, etc. That is not my case. I am working hard to improve my income, but still without results.

lovethemblondes13, in the past I used poetry to meet girls. I am very good at it and even got a national award. I kind of left it because publishing companies only want novels, and because I don't have a computer at home to write. The subculture of writers is a sausage fest (and we write just for the sake of writing), just like martial arts, but literature gives girls an excuse to come and talk to me, which fits my passive style.

I have tried to use it again, but it seems that women over 25 like to be more "practical" and don't fall for any kind of artistic stuff. They want a single lawyer with a nice house. I have made the mistake of trying to hit on younger girls, but I can't hold a conversation with them and it even makes me look creepy.

There are almost no women in martial arts, and when I tell a girl that I do MA, they take me as a violent and dangerous person. However, there is this little project of teaching self defense at the university. I don't think it is appropriate to "hit" on students (no pun intended) but maybe they have friends.

quick question, were you teased about you weight? or body for that matter?

most bars don't charge for admission, and there many pua's out there who doesn't drink, so that actually means that you can go sarging without paying anything, your physical appearance doesn't matter much, as long as you're clean, and somewhat decently dressed (i.e. clean clothes that fit you)

kastle, I was teased because I can't pronounce the strong R. I think you don't even have that sound in English. The thing is that what should be RRRRRR, sounded like GRRLDRRRGG. My voice is a little nasal too, because of allergies. Last year I went to a speech therapist to solve those problems, and it worked fine, but I haven't made time this year to keep practicing the exercises. I have no privacy and it feels weird to do it on the street (but I did it last year). I am also finishing the dust allergies SPAM. It has worked very good.

I am also very pale. My basque ancestry means I am white and hairy. :P

And I like "weird" stuff: politics, classic novels, surrealism, mythology, philosophy, jujitsu, karate, tactical combat, mechanical engineering, etc. That is partly cause and partly consequence of the bullying. After being teased no matter what I did, I started to give a damn about their opinions and became even freakier.

I used to have good weight, even skinny sometimes. Now I have a small belly, because I eat cheap crap and don't exercise. I plan to go back to jujitsu next month.

By the way, I started the Nathaniel Branden program to improve self esteem. I am on week 33 of the first series. It has helped me to take action and get control of my life. My depressions are fewer and milder now, but I started to take sertralin and modafinil anyways, because I still can't get motivated enough to pass the last two exams at college and graduate. I have taken them 6 times, but I always lose and the professor has even made fun of me the last times.
