| Post subject: | Hello Everybody! |
Hello and thank you for building such an amazingly supportive community. I've been lurking around for a month or two and figured it was time to register and start a new adventure! Since Chief posted some bits of information that I should share, I figured answering each question would be easiest. >where you're located: Colorado >your age: 24 >how you got into "the game": I first learned such a thing existed after talking to a friend who shared his positive experiences after learning the "cocky funny" style. He directed me to read The Game by Neil, which left me fascinated. >how long you've been studying and practicing pickup: I started looking into it a few months ago, but now that I have more free time and a greater desire to improve my life I have been working on it more the last few weeks. I did the newbie mission a few weeks ago, but have lost some motivation since then. >which pickup method(s) you like to use: I haven't quite figured this out yet, all I know is that doing a whole bunch of magic tricks or going through rehearsed routines is not for me. I am an attractive guy who is very funny, however I have severe AA and confidence issues, so I just need to figure out how to apply my positive traits. >what your hobbies/passions are: Lifting weights, riding bicycles and tinkering(building things, modifying both mechanical and electronic 'things', repairing whatever, you get the idea.) >what your goals are: My goal is to become a more confident and comfortable in life man. I'm not just trying to get laid or anything, more looking for a LTR type thing, but I certainly will not pass on fun along the way. >and whatever back story you wish to share with us.: Once upon a time I was incredibly comfortable just being myself. Some people would say I was crazy(huge personality that knew now shame), but everybody thought I was a lot of fun to be around. I guess life happened and I lost that part of me. I know that I have written a lot here, but I figure much of it is very useful to gaining a better understanding of myself and my own goals. I thank you for reading my introduction and I look forward to getting to know all of you. -Semlo |
