greetings. I am going to a party tomorrow and I was hoping that somebody could give me some advice that would give me some fast progress. the party is in the dormitory that I live in. I am a goofy computer geek so this is mission impossible ;P so 24 hours until the drinking starts can this community deliver(yes I am clueless. I don't even know how or what to ask for) |

Objective: Have fun and socialize;) I always try to do whatever my instincts tell me to, see someone with a funny hat, compliment them on their sense of style. See a beautiful girl, go and talk to her, it doesn't even matter what. As long as you are having fun. If you feel like gaming on a girl, simply apply the rules the game offers;) In theory it really is that simple:) |

forget the low self esteem, drop the negativism you seem to have a good sense of humour, use it, but don't be a wierd put in your head that all girls in the party would love to have a bit of you have fun, put yourself around the most fun circles and get some contacts, make some cool friends who usually do fun stuff cheers |

morning. I didn't get laid yesterday BUT it was fun anyway. I invited a couple of friends and suddenly 10 came. me and my friends were sitting on our own table. I wanted to mingle but I had to keep them company for awhile. They also got this attitude because they were so many. it was like us vs all the others.. A fight broke out while I was out chatting with some people. so we had to leave. This ruined alot for me but we went out drinking and it wasn't that bad. We were 5 guys and 2 girls. one of the girls was 35. anyways the 35 year old ended up taking my phone number and giving me a kiss. I guess it is a start ;P |

Good on ya for getting a kiss and having the girl take your number. Words of wisdom for the future, if you are going to a party to meet people a friend or two is helpful 10 crash the thing. I am on the crew team at my school(coed, but those girls look like dudes), whenever the whole team would show up at a house party it was fun for us, but it could be off putting for the rest of the party because of the dynamic you just mentioned, us vs them. if the party was big enough it would be fine usually because we could all spread out and meet everyone. Also dragging a big group of friends out doesn't necessarily broaden your social horizons any. think about it, how many new people did you meet? You said you had to keep your friends occupied and spend time with them. Just some food for thought. I'm glad you had fun and keep it up! |
