Hi everybody, I've been lurking this forum for a while already, I've "discovered" the PUA community ~ 2 years ago, but never cared too much about it so far. But recently I started reading Mysterys book, and I'm quite impressed by it cause it explained a lot of things to me that I already knew (in a subtle way), but wasn't able to put into words for myself, or didn't fully understand.

I'm single since ~ 3 years, and totally changed my live during that time. previously I was always a "relationship" guy until I've discovered that that's not exatly my "thing".
So I figured out that I have to work on myself, and that I have to find out what's really my "thing". So I'm living my Single-Live since ~ 3 years, and spiced that up with multiple Sex-Friendships with various Girls.
Due to that I'm not exactly inexperienced with picking up girls, in fact I always thought I'm quite good and successful doing it, until I started to read Mysterys Book.

That was the time when I discovered that I'm still a noob, not as noobish as all those AFCs suffering from oneitis and needyness, but still a very small fish, and that I could achieve much more than I did ever before, hopefully :)

Good stuff dude. Good awareness of your relative experience level--that will help you grow. You may be reading Mystery's book (its a great introduction), but if you would want to read something really good, I would recommend reading Vin DiCarlo's Attraction Code (its an eBook). It really teaches you how to find yourself and be better with who you really are (not hiding shit) around women.

Thanks, I'm gonna add that one to my list, lot#s of stuff to read right now, I also have Neil Strauss's books here already.

I actually date anew girl ~ once every two weeks, so during the last days I figured out that picking up girls isn't really a problem for me, but building a deeper connection to the obviously is.
For example yesterday I figured out that I clearly lack a reasonable stack of routines to build attraction or comfort, I normally just talk a bit with them, and when I run out of ideas I quickly move on and try to #-close, k-close, f-close or whatever.
I never really took the time to observe how THEY feel right now, never took the time to build deep attraction & comfort. So right now I think that's a huge opportunity to improve my game, I need to think about more reasonable routines to add to my portfolio.... :)

Hi and welcome:)

As for reading you "have" to read 60 years of challange. It's totaly amazing what it will do for you as a person.
What i mean by this is that it will improve your life overall, not only improve your skills in picking up women

Thanks, I'm gonna take a look at that one too. I'm anyway more a believer that a really good game has to base on real confidence, not on good acting skills.

So following the self-improvement part is definitely the way to go for me :)

The one thing I tell you about Neil Strauss's The Game book is that it is more f a dramatic narrative than it is a learning tool. It is cool to read because of the interesting events that take place. But as a learning tool for someone at your level, that will do very little.

The book I recommened you should assist you in being more comfortable around women and being more you with women. You may not understand that statement but if you can acheive that it will create that attraction and connection that you are looking for.

About routines, Mystery's book seems to advocate for them. But when you start getting good at this PUA stuff, you will notice that it is not too much about routines, it is more about you being confident, being strong, being collected, and having good body language. It is more about HOW you say/do something than about WHAT you say/do....

I have read basic material from 60 years of challange. He seems to advocate for doing less and receiving more by having the PUA just not mess stuff up (not really a proactive method). I understand the basics of it unless you care to explain them to me a little (greatly appreciated if so).

Do you know (recommend) anything from him that would be best (and most relavent) for the first interactions with the TGT?

If you can, PM me information on how I may attain that material.

Thanks
