Post subject:  Jon Johnson Reporting In! (including my goal)

Hey all! My name's Jon Johnson as you can see from the title. Heh no lies on the name (even though people don't always believe it's a real name lol), it's truely unique and I can use it as a peacock factor, it's pretty awesome.

Anyways, I just turned 21 on the 21st this month, and I am currently attending Simon Fraser University for any of you people in the Vancouver, BC area, you guys will know of it :)

My main goal of joining here is because I would be constantly chewing myself out if I didnt get to learn how to pick up and meet a bunch of the amazing ladies here on campus, because I recognize that this is my golden opportunity and I want to capitalize on it!!!!

Hopefully I can have a bit of a support team built around me eventually, and it would be even more awesome if I had a mentor either around the same area, or else on here would still be really awesome and I would be well-in-debt!!!!

Thanks ahead of time to those who reply, and to anyone who would be able to help me out!

~ JJ

Welcome JJ,

Must say, when I read your name it was nothing unusual and didn't really strike me as a peacocking pluss :?

Anyway, little bit of advice for anyone starting, learning the material is the fun and easy part. Retaining it and applying it in real life is what seperates most PUA's

good luck

Great point, and thank you very much, I am looking very forward to actually belonging to a forum with free discussion about situations in everyone's daily life which all of these techniques can be applied, and even better, where we can all discuss and debate them...

Another thing is I find some methods are so outdated (not in theory, but in practice) so it's good to have up to date material available to you :)

Hey, welcome. I'm new to the forums, and to the community as well, but I'm 23 and in Vancouver. Maybe we can work together at some point 8)

Good luck on your goal and I hope you keep us up to date on your progress. Heres a link that may help you on your campus troubles though.

Awesome!!! Thanks for the encouragement and for the link C.Dribs, I'll have to give it a read!

I think one of my biggest flaws is changing the moods also... typically I guess I am natural at getting close with girls, maybe not starting up convo's with random ones but, eventually I am good with hanging out with them or even having them over to my place, but I struggle with changing the mood from just a friendly talking mood to something more sensual/sexy to lead into things...

gotta outline my problems I guess if I want to get better.

If anyone has any advice please fill me in on it :)

Hey Jon Johnson ,

You did a good choice by joining the forum because you will find a lot of support here to help you. Also it's very good that you decided to take your life in your own hands and go pick up girls!

I wish you luck my friend,

Tony

You are right about that! But I still think it is very interesting to learn about the older methods. Just to see why they worked, how they have improved and what techniques spawned because of them.

But yeah, I think The Game was released in 2005, so it is amazing how fast the community improved and grew of that book etc etc

Hey Jon Johnson,

I'm also 21, also from Vancouver (UBC though). Good luck with mastering PU!
