When i'm in set, im nervous. When I'm approaching, I'm nervous. When I'm trying to escelate, I'm nervous. Basically I'm nervous. The problem though is not lack of knowledge, I've read like 30+ books, spent way too much money on products such as Love Systems "Beyond Words", Gambler's "Pua University" and more ebooks than you could fit on a sony ereader. In theory i have an answer for every question, a solution for every problem. In practice, I have squat. I'm determined to change this. "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten" Previously my mentality has been, if i know it all and read all the information there is, there's no way i won't succeed. But unfortunately this is quite untrue. In fact all the study I've done on body language, routines, inner game etc has done nothing except make me over analytical. I think in order to succeed in becoming an incredible PUA is to only do 1/3 theory and 2/3 practice. So what im basically planning to do is start over, and study only openers and approaching. then once Ive gotten over or at least learned to deal with AA i can move onto the next stages of the interaction. Any opinions and comments will be greatly appreciated. |

GO OUT AND APPROACH! Reading and reading and reading can only do so much for you, as you've already realized. I suck at approaching and still have a really hard time at it!!! Its hard as fuck for me to approach a girl, I really dont know why. I guess im just afraid they will reject me, but i gotta get over that shit! I wish you the best of luck brotha!! |

Books will give you theory. Theory won't get you anywhere, practical abilities is everything. Think of a time you were confident with something you're doing. Bring that memory and emotion into place. The way I had conquered my phobia was to go to a public place and talk to 10 random people just make a stupid excuse such as "Hi, me and my friend are having a race to see who can talk to as many people as possible in *blah blah* minutes. Nice to meet you." This will just stop you over analysing the situation and just let yourself come out. |
