Made you look at my thread. I'm most interested on learning how to deal with people in general and how to manipulate people. It's ok to manipulate people because acting friendly to get a positive response is manipulation. I think this is an excellent place to learn this stuff because of the wealth of knowledge and use of already studied psychological phenomena. Not much of a gamer but I look forward to learning more about people and actually applying it in real life. What did you think of the title? I wanted to attract attention and figured a question about you would be intriguing. -STC |

Depends what you mean by "successfully game". I started just a few weeks ago but not closed (except for a real "fluke" meeting) but made approaches and opened women incl. married HB with husband present, and also girls. I've found older women of my own age scarcer and more difficult. Now I need to learn how to develop better convo., transition, kino and other routines leading to a close.I don't get far after the pick-up line because I don't think quickly enough and only think of possible options and topics AFTER I've left or when I've got back home. This is where I have much work to do. As stated above, I haven't always chosen a suitable target to work towards a close. Whatever the process and whatever you views, the word "manipulation" has mostly negative connotations. Does a "natural" smooth talker or womaniser use "manipulation"? For me, it has to be "natural game" as far as possible, and I don't see it as "manipulation" but the application of acquired knowledge and social skills. On the other hand, I'm "manipulated" or "handled" all the time by sales girls in shops, waitresses and HBs, some of whon have been professionally trained at it. |
