Hi all, Joined today. I'm over 50 and had very limited and mostly unsuccessful experience with women over the years but now have more time. Recently I read around the PUA topic and tried some basic approaches. Soon realized my approach anxiety had been a real problem but was reducing and I want to progress from here. If and when I can develop and make a close, how do I cope with the total inexperience / small social circle / too serious personality, etc. and the shocks (rejections, due to incompetence) that I can expect? I'm looking for advice in these areas of progression, etc. Regards, |

Hey man, I am also not that young anymore. Does not matter though! I am 43 and feel more confident with women now than ever before. All thanks to recent development to do with studying the game. So, you will develop, and with that development you will expand your social circle, integrate new things in your personality and get some experience. Anyway, it helped me to think of every approach as just a practice, so I detach myself from result. Than it becomes much less important, so even if it does not go well it becomes as if you lost a life in computer game. It is not what you want, but it is also does not really matter. Same thing with every other stage of the game. I hope this helps... |

Hi, The only thing I've noticed that may be a problem is your 'too serious personality'. You will have to learn how to be playful. It's not hard as it seems. Start practicing with people around you, that you talk everyday. You don't need to be a clown, just make sure people feel comfortable when they're near you. Relax, read some PUA articles and I'm sure you will be fine. |

Thanks for feeedback, Yes, I'm aware of the "too serious" thing, and have done work on myself in the past. Simple PUA approaches have shifted my mood already and should help me get material to work with - how to be playful. Yes, that's what I need. I think it's got the ball rolling a little. Lost so much time in semi-depressed state. Must move it on now. |
