Hey guys, My name is Tiaan, i live in Brisbane Australia and need a hand with something. i dont have a problem of chatting to girls or approaching girls, my issue is playing "Mr nice guy" and not sealing the deal with them. any tips or pointers would be much appreciated. Cheers |

Hey man, welcome to the forum. This is a very common issue within the community, you'll find reams and reams of material on this, get browsing. Offhand, I can personally recommend making a point to do and say stuff in conversation that scares the shit out of you and essentially makes you look like a total prick for a while. That way, you're going to break through that fear you have of looking like a prick and desensitise yourself to your perceived social consequences of behaving that way. Once you're no longer afraid of people thinking you're a prick (this lack of fear will come when you realise that the consequences are far less damaging than you think), you can begin to pull it back and balance it out; you can create the irresistible asshole image that Gambler talks about to build attraction and interest, to give yourself an edge, then you can integrate the 'nice' guy side of yourself to build comfort and rapport with the girl. Hello I want to say that I have done this purely in good grace and honour of this website to hopefully repay what it has done for me. I have learnt too many lessons and important experiences to let them go to waste. I find it hard posting them all in an organized fashion so I have created a blog solely dedicated to the lessons I have learnt off this website. I gain no money or any personal gain in this; just hopefully I can help you who have helped me come a long way. I thank the PUA forum and I will continue to use it every day, and I hope you support my efforts in trying to promote your site even further and share the experiences learnt off of you guys. I hope I get many followers, comments, and posts, as they are all dedicated to this site and every two months if I gain enough followers I will direct them to this Forum so they can receive better advice and learn off you guys like I did first hand. So you're playing Mr. Nice Guy. Good, you have recognized your problem and now it's time to get rid of it. Think about the following things: 1) What could be the reasons for you being too 'nice'? 2) What would be the results if you didn't behave like this? 3) What keeps you from trying out to be a bit more of an ass? 4) What can you do to overcome this? When you think about it enough you should come to results something like this: 1) I'm socially programmed to be nice. 2) People would either think I'm a dick or have a stronger personality than most people. 3) a) Awareness of social fame b) Fear of being disliked c)My consience telling me it's wrong. 4) a) Try on people you don't know. Who cares what those people think? They have better things to do than destroy your social fame as a kind person. b) Again some people you have just met it's not important wheter they like or dislike you, you are most likely never gonna meet again. c) Whom do you want to play the game? YOU or your consience? Grow some balls and do something crazy. It will feel great I promise. The same goes for being a 'dick'. It feels good to have power over others. And behaving like you don't care for you don't care means you have power over them. Now good luck on giving 'Mr. Nice Guy' a bitchslap and turning him into a 'Not that nice but instead attractive, funny and charming ass' |
