Nutshell Version: AGE: 35 LOCATION: Lives in Clarksville, Games mainly in Nashville (From Texas originally) HOW I GOT INTO "THE GAME": Recovering "Nice Guy"Started with David DeAngelo, Read Mystery's Methods METHODS I LIKE TO USE: Focusing on Gambler's / Adam Lyons' methods HOBBIES: I study psychology, metaphysical stuff, love music (I even try to make it sometimes), like to go camping and hiking, I like to write (obviously), and just started getting serious with photography (thanks Adam!) GOALS: Ultimately, I want a GREAT girlfriend, but for a while, I want to make up for all the women that I've "missed" and have lots of short casual relationships LOTS OF BACKSTORY: I'm a 35 year old guy in Nashville. Actually, I live in Clarksville about 50 miles north, but it is a military town with an ULTRA high ratio of dudes to women. The beautiful women here always turn out to be married to a deployed soldier or 16. Not interested in either of those, so I go down to Nashville every chance I get. I was a "nice guy" with an EXTREMELY negative self esteem until I reached the end of my rope in 2002. I recovered and decided that "I would make it to the moon if I had to crawl". I started furiously reading self-help books, psychology, and spirituality. It's taken a long time and, about six months ago, I finally had enough self esteem to start thinking about women. Up to this point, it was always "why would anyone be interested in me?" Six months ago, I started asking "why aren't women interested in me?!" I did crazy things like asking a 100 women out for a coffee date with lines that I totally made up. Even though they were canned lines, I said them SO frickin much, they came off smooth and confidently. I stopped caring what they said. They ALWAYS said no. So, there was something still wrong, and I was slipping back to "kicking myself" for it. Then I found David DeAngelo and the stuff just TOTALLY blew my mind. Just the simple things like "attraction is not a choice" and, "I'm a man, yes I am sexually attracted to women, no I don't need to apologize for that" - these things were eye-opening for me. Recently, I found Mystery's books and they filled in a lot more for me. Then, I found Richard La Ruina (Gambler) and AFC Adam Lyons. These guys were EXACTLY what I was looking for - smooth and natural. Some of the stuff has been easy for me because I've done a lot of the foundation on my own, but most of it is so foreign to me that it's been a real pain. "Rejectaphobia" is a bitch! The best thing is though, is that I'm making progress MUCH faster than I was before and each step makes me more confident and gets me more excited. I've never gotten a phone number in my life. Last month, I went to Adam Lyons' bootcamp and got several numbers and TON of Facebooks. The bootcamp really blew the doors off for me. I went out for Halloween with my "BFF" (the girl I'm in love with but only thinks of me as a friend). I used her for a change, in stead of the other way around. She was my evidence to the room that I'm desirable. From there I worked the room like Adam teaches. By the end of the night, me and her were sitting with three other women and everyone in the whole place knew me. The owner even knew me! lol! People would yell my name as they left, and since I'm not even from her town, my BFF was so surprised she asked "how does EVERYONE know you?!" She watched me do the whole thing... I'm still not getting women in bed, but I am getting SOOOO close! Things are already starting to make more sense and I can number close most of the time now without blowing it. I have only been home a week since the bootcamp (I travel a lot) so I'm pretty sure that once I start doing what Adam taught, consistently in one place, things will start to fall into place. It's exciting to me that I even have made it this far! So, if you live in Clarksville or Nashville, TN, or if you live in Fayetteville, NC, (have to move there soon maybe) send me a message - I'd love to hang out with some other guys that are trying to figure this stuff out! |
