As the title says, I am currently in Boston for school. I am 25 and never really put much thought into studying and practicing pickup. I always thought that it was nothing more then snake oil in order to make some money off some chump. I never really had problems with getting laid or having girlfriends, in fact upon retrospect, even though I was able to have a girlfriend or get laid, I never had any game. Well, I wouldn't say no game. I just have a fear of initially going up and talking to a girl. I just don't ever know how to open. My openings were always opened by someone else. Like an alcoholic, the first step to becoming better is admitting you lack a sack, and I lack the stones to approach women. In fact one of the reasons why I am here was because I have recently become separated from the girl that I love, who I have been with for 7 years. Not discussing my relationship any further, I had a friend who recommended that I read The Game. Reading this book became cathartic. Page by page, my pain of loss was slowly going away. And when it does come back, I just read a random chapter again and it goes away. I began to remember that she isn't the only girl out there and that I need to sack the fuck up and move on. Now is the time to better myself as a person both physically and mentally. So, here I am. I am looking to learn how to pickup on girls at any random place or time. Not for revenge of what happened between my ex and I, not for having a slave or anything like that. I do love women and do care for them. I want to learn how to pickup on women in order to better myself as a person, just how learning how to be a PUA helped Style in not only his sexual life, but affected all of his interactions with everyone around him. Hopefully I learn a lot from these forums and look forward to meeting you all. |

I am from Boston as well.Neil did a great job with the book and it changed my life.I'm almost in the same boat as you.I've been mastering different techniques and picking up every book on these skills while reading one after the other.I'm younger than you, but I'll gladly come around and take a sarge.If there is a chance meeting in Boston, please inform as I'm interested as well.Thanks for the space |

Yes, there's is a regular meeting in Boston. I've been to two and learned a few social skills from more experienced guys. There is a few guys from the forums who wanna meet. One is already in, but away until August. Then we'll go out when he is back. I'd like to meet more people, the more the merrier. |

Sounds great to have have meeting even say a monthly meeting to discuss our field learnings.Count me in for this snd send me a pm when you sarge.I'm out 3-4 nights a week.I could use some help |

Hello, I'm actually about to post my introduction too I just thought it was a coincidence because I am in Boston as well. I've decided it's finally time to learn this stuff and to stop being a pussy. My introduction will have more details but good to know there's a group in Beantown! |
