Post subject:  Introductions: damned AA!
Hi!

I think the best way to introduce myself is this: I am one of the worst AFC on earth. I am 23 years old and I've never K-closed, let alone F-closed. I discovered PU a couple of moths ago reading 'The Game' and I thought it was the solution to all my problems: I read all the stuff I could find on Mystery Method, Body language etc. and began to work on my inner game...At first I was very proud of myself: I completely renewed my clothing, I lost weight, I corrected my posture...and everybody complimented me on this changes!

But a week ago I decided I had better begin to play for real and began the Style Life Challenge. I did 3 days, but on the 4th day, when I had to ask three chicks suggestions for a cool clothing shop, I got stuck: I just couldn't open my mouth, I felt horrible...But I didn't give up, I kept trying the next day: useless. When I see chick and think that I have to open her I freak out, I can't help it .

Am I a terminal AFC? What should I do to conquer AA? :cry:

My man you are on the right track! I am pretty new myself (just gave my introduction as well), but I think I can give you a couple of pointers.

When you are going up to make the approach, you are putting a lot of pressure on yourself and on the future interaction
"I really like this girl already what if she rejects me"
"What if I don't know what to say after the opener"
And I'm sure lots of other things are going through your head as well (they go through mine too).

But in the case of this challenge, which I will be starting next week once I move, just be genuinely interested in where a cool clothing store is. You're not trying to F-, K-, or N-close this girl. You are simply trying to find out some information from her. She's not going to "reject" you now.
Worst case scenario is this:
HB: "No, sorry I don't know." And she walks away.
Best case scenario is this:
HB: "OMG I love that you asked that question let's have sex right now." Ok, maybe that's stretching it :D
More like:
HB: "Yeah definitely, there's so-and-so 4 blocks over, it's got some great clothes and great deals!"

Then, if you feel like it, continue a bit from there. Just be friendly!
"You give off a trendy vibe yourself, do you shop there a lot?"
etc etc

This will be about a 1 minute friendly interaction with NO PRESSURE, because you're not looking to close in any way. It'll boost up your confidence and make the next one even easier.
