(The thread title is a joke - before anyone takes it the wrong way).

Hey all

I'm a female student from London with an interest in psychology, especially interpersonal behaviour, and generally helping people to realise more of their own potential/self-worth etc.

I've read The Game by Neil Strauss, The Art of Natural Seduction by Richard La Ruina (Gambler) and some of David Deangelo's ebooks. I also just downloaded some NLP books.

I've never participated on PUA forums before; though a guy already on these forums recommended to me that I have a peep. I look forward to learning from you all, and hopefully being of some help in the process.

I second that!

You could begin sharing what you did like and didn't like about The Game. :D

Haha.

Well, firstly I really liked it. I found it hilarious in parts and read it every moment I had to myself during a surfing holiday I was on, and considering I can get bored of books pretty quickly that's saying something. Naturally I loved the end where he 'caught' one-itis. (But I would, wouldn't I?) Also, Mystery stood out as a pretty messed up character; it was nice to have such a close insight, and I actually came to feel sorry for him.

What did I not like? Being a bit of a feminist it was pretty irritating how Style would sometimes describe women as if they were disposable objects even if it wasn't out-right, in-your-face. Again, though, that's probably to be expected.

Overall it was a nice introduction to the PUA community and what it's all about.

I think that was his intention.

After all his big plotline was:
Loser becomes good, goes bad and goes back to being a nice guy.

So he intentionally showed himself as a bad guy while he was being a mPUA and then finished off that when he found true love he became good again.

Well that relationship didnt last too long and now hes back to being Style again...
