Hi All- I recently broke up with my long-distance gf of 3.5 years. I discovered the pick up community after someone gave me a copy of The Game about a year ago. I haven't tried any of this stuff in the field but now that I'm single I really want to use this stuff to change my social life. I think just reading and thinking about The Game definitely changed the way I talked to people and projected myself in a general sense in the past year. My history with women isn't as bad as some. I'm tall, and athletic, though I recently gained some weight after having surgery a few months ago and I'm trying to lose it. I'm back in my fitness routine and I'll be in shape by summer. I hooked up with a lot of girls in college and I have had several gfs, sometimes 2 at a time, though they never knew about each other. I definitely want to try having MLTRs that are open and honest, as keeping secrets is a ton of work. My gfs have been 8s, the last one was a 9 and I think that's why I stuck with her for so long. My booty calls have always been 5s to 7s. My problem is that I usually feel like I settle for women that choose and chase me and I have no idea how to go about pursuing and getting the women that I want for myself. I also think that I am something of a pushover and I attract psycho chicks who want to use me like a therapist and walk all over me. I also want to be able to have more one-night-stands. Unfortunately I often fall into the relationship trap when I don't really want to and this just causes more damage in the long run. I have been reading up on MM, and GWM. I've read that studying all the methods and using what appeals to you most is the way to go. I like the idea of GWM but I have a hard time seeing that work out for me in real life... I feel like I would just be perceived as a really huge creepy guy leering at some chick and invading her personal space in a department store... Anyway, i'm thinking of trying the "x-number of random approaches at the mall" challenge during a lunch break one day to start getting over approach anxiety. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I live on Long Island. I would be down with meeting up at any place on the island to sarge, just drop me a PM. M |
