| Post subject: | Greetings from an AFC |
Hello all, I am from Mississauga Ontario, I'm 21 and I go to university somewhere in Ontario, first year. I first discovered the game after seeing Style on the talk show circuit, and since then I've watched a lot of pick up artist videos and I'm currently reading Mystery's book. I don't have much time because I am in a tough course, physics, but every so often even for just a couple minutes a day I'll read what I can. I'm the definition of an AFC and the only reason I'm not a virgin is because I was lucky enough to be good looking enough for a girl to go after me, that relationship has ended so I've decided to give the pick up thing a try. I am someone with an anxiety condition and who was also wrongfully medicated most of my life and I've only recently rid myself of the shackles of that. That's not to say socially I haven't come a VERY VERY long way from the guy in high school who was rejected by the rejects and went to ZERO real parties during my entire run at high school. Now, although I don't have a close inner circle of friends I do have people who would call me a friend and people to go to the pub with and party with every so often. However I'm finding the tell yourself not to be a pussy and just say something method has it's limits, and I'm going to have to learn behaviors that come very unnatural for me and despite the fact I've come a very long way I still have a very long road ahead of me. I'm using this forum as a way to help myself out and I'm promising myself not to get too involved with it because there is just no substitute for the real world. I look forward to reading more stories and techniques and hopefully posting some success stories of my own. |
